Ozzy Osbourne was spotted being helped into a wheelchair, as the rockstar recently revealed that he’s set to undergo a surgical procedure.

In photographs taken in Los Angeles, the 74-year-old could be seen getting out of a car, as a man wearing a facemask stood with his hands on the handles of a wheelchair.

As Ozzy went to take a seat in the chair, the man in question pushed him, as a woman also stood by.

The Black Sabbath singer was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2003, but didn’t go public with his diagnosis for another 17 years.

In 2019, he underwent surgery after suffering a fall at his home in LA, explaining at the time that he initially thought as he fell that he had become paralysed.

Then earlier this year, the rocker announced that he was unable to go on tour following multiple procedures to treat his spinal injury.

Ozzy revealed in a new episode of his family’s podcast The Osbournes Podcast that he has another surgery in the pipeline, which will bring his total number of procedures following his 2019 fall up to four.

‘He said: ‘My lower back is, I’m going for an epidural soon because what’s happening, what they’ve discovered is the neck has been fixed, below the neck there’s two vertebrae where the bike hit me and disintegrated, there’s nothing left of ’em,’ he said, Blabbermouth reported.

After his son Jack Osbourne asked: ‘Are they fusing discs?’ Ozzy responded explained that he ‘didn’t know’ what the medical professionals were going to be doing.

‘All I know is right now, I’m in a lot of pain, I’m in a lot of discomfort,’ he added.

Ozzy and his wife Sharon Osbourne confirmed that this would be his fourth surgery.

He continued: ‘In my back, the two discs, and the muscles on my shoulders have separated from my skeleton, and that’s why I lean forward as it’s like gravity is bringing my head forward.’

YouTube stars Zoe Sugg and Alfie Deyes are engaged!

The couple, who have been together for more than a decade, announced their exciting news with a joint post on Instagram by sharing a black-and-white video of them together.

In the clip, Zoe, 33, is standing on a wall while leaning against Alfie, 29, as they share a peck on the lips while Harry Styles’ song Music For a Sushi Restaurant is playing in the background.

Zoe, who is currently pregnant with her second child, them hops off the wall, running towards the camera while brandishing her brand new diamond ring.

The couple immediately received a wave of congratulatory messages, with Stacey Solomon commenting: ‘Congratulations 😍😍😍😍😍.’

Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer Dianne Buswell, who is dating Zoe’s brother Joe Sugg, added: ‘❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️so happy,’ while Alfie’s sister Poppy Deyes wrote: ‘YAYYYYY 💍💍💍💍.’

Theatre star Carrie Hope Fletcher, who recently announced her pregnancy, wrote: ‘OMG!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!’

Zoe, widely-known by her YouTube handle Zoella, has 10.7million subscribers on the video-sharing platform on her old profile, while her current account, simply titled ‘Zoe Sugg’, boasts nearly five million subscribers.

Alfie, on the other hand, has 3.62m subscribers on his account ‘Alfie Deyes Vlogs’.

After speculation from fans, Zoe and Alfie confirmed that they were dating in a blog post published in 2013, having started seeing each other romantically the previous year.

Their first daughter, Ottilie, was born in August 2021.

The couple are currently expecting their second daughter, who’s due in December this year.

Love Island star Montana Brown shared an adorable moment with her baby boy Jude after revealing she underwent surgery.

It’s not currently clear what the surgery that the TV personality, 28, is having is for.

But in an Instagram clip, she shared on Tuesday she was seen lying on what appeared to be a hospital bed while wearing a surgical gown.

In her latest snap, Montana uploaded a picture of her and her little one in hospital.

‘He has my whole heart,’ she wrote in the caption.

Montana was over the moon to introduce her son Jude to the world earlier this summer, having welcomed her baby boy with her fiancé Mark O’Connor.

Following the birth, she wrote on Instagram: ‘Welcome to the world Jude Isaiah O’Connor.

‘We’re so smitten with you little man. 23.06.23.’

She also shared a black-and-white photo of herself cradling her newborn child, as he sweetly rested against her chest.

At the beginning of the month, the influencer shared her excitement to be taking her little bundle of joy on his first holiday.

The good vibes didn’t last for long, though, as Montana and the family faced delays before their flight was cancelled completely.

‘Ok maybe we’re not going away as our flight has been delayed until 1am…’, she wrote on her Instagram Story after the dreaded announcement.

Montana and Mark announced their engagement in April, two months before they became parents.

The couple got together years after Montana found fame on Love Island in 2017, during which she finished in fifth place with Alex Beattie.

Montana described Mark as the ‘love of her life’, saying that she couldn’t ‘wait’ to marry her ‘best friend’.

The season three contestant and Mark also got engaged in April, which the Love Island star announced with a cute post showing off her huge engagement ring.

‘Stuck with me now… HA 💍,’ she wrote and joked: ‘Also only Mark would wear a hoodie on engagement day.’

Liam Payne’s mum has shared how ‘worried sick’ she feels about her son after he was taken to hospital in Italy.

On Tuesday evening, it was reported that the former One Direction singer had been hospitalised while on holiday to celebrate his one-year anniversary with his girlfriend Kate Cassidy.

His hospitalisation came weeks after he informed fans in a heartfelt video that he’d been forced to postpone his solo tour, after receiving treatment for a kidney infection in hospital.

Following the latest health update, the 30-year-old’s mother, Karen Payne, spoke about how concerned she felt for her son’s wellbeing, emphasising how ‘helpless’ she felt.

‘We are all worried sick about it but we just have to get on. It’s horrible – him being all the way over there,’ she said, MailOnline reported.

‘He’s in Milan and it sounds like he’ll be there for a week. I feel helpless.’

She continued: ‘All we can really do is sit it out here and hope for the best. There is nothing we can do. We feel helpless.’

Karen added that it was ‘such a horrible situation’, and they ‘just hope he’s in the best place possible’.

A source previously claimed that Liam was ‘in a bad way’ when he was admitted to hospital.

‘Liam is in a bad way but he’s in the best place he can be and finally doctors will be able to get to the bottom of what is going on,’ they told The Sun.

‘Naturally he is gutted that his and Kate’s trip to Lake Como has been ruined but at least she was there to help him when he fell ill.

‘Doctors have warned him not to expect to be signed off to go home for at least another six days.’

According to the source, the doctors want to ‘do every test possible to understand the issue’.

The publication claimed that Liam was transported to A&E in an ambulance before being taken to a hospital ward for emergency treatment, where he is expected to stay for a few days.

On August 25, the musician shared in an update on Instagram: ‘It’s with a heavy heart I have to tell you that we have no other choice but to postpone my upcoming tour of South America.

‘Over the past week I’ve been in hospital with a serious kidney infection, it’s something I wouldn’t wish on anyone, and doctors orders are that I now need to rest and recover.’

He continued: ‘I was beyond excited to come play for you guys. To all of you who have bought tickets: I’m so sorry. We’re working to re-schedule the tour as soon as we possibly can, but for now we will be refunding the tickets – so please look out for updates from your point of purchase.

‘Thanks as always for the love and support, and look forward to seeing you soon.’

Ex-Love Island contestant Faye Winter opened up about relationships after finding fame and admitted first dates could be pretty tricky.

The 28-year-old star exited the Spanish villa on the arm of her then partner Teddy Soares in 2021 – however the summer romance wasn’t to last as they split 18 months later.

After becoming a house-hold name, Faye revealed how she was navigating dating as a well-known face and explained why it was proving challenging.

Moving to Devon with her dog Bonnie following her breakup, the former estate agent said she was still looking for love, albeit through a slightly different lens now.

Chatting exclusively with Metro.co.uk, Faye explained: ‘I think there’s always a pressure to stay open with your relationships and what you’ve got going on.

‘I can’t be going on first dates and introducing them to the world, so I don’t know how I’m going to do it.

‘When I decide to come out into the public with who I’m dating – when I’m dating – obviously I will be very open about it, but I need to make sure I’m sure on the person.

‘I need to make sure they’re sure on me. So I can’t be just doing that.’

Despite the struggle surrounding a public personal life, the influencer acknowledged that her dating life was part and parcel of her newfound platform.

She continued: ‘When you come out and you’re on a dating show, people follow you for that reason.

Putting rumours to rest, Faye shut down the whispers when she said: ‘Pete Wicks is a very, very good friend of mine.

Calvin Harris and his new wife Vick Hope were all smiles as they were spotted heading to the airport on Monday.

The newlyweds boarded a private jet and settled in for a flight to Brindisi, Italy where they would enjoy a romantic getaway as part of their honeymoon.

Tying the knot over the weekend, the This Is What You Came For DJ, 39, and the BBC radio host, 33 said ‘I do’ on Saturday in front of a star-studded room.

They invited a plethora of celebrities to celebrate with them at a Glastonbury-themed wedding ceremony on Saturday in Hulne Priory in Alnwick, Northumberland.

Following the festivities, the couple packed their things and made their way towards a jet waiting to whisk them away.

Vick wore a golden knit maxi-dress with a knotted neckline for her travels and let her curly hair hang loose down her back.

She carried a woven basket over one arm that was stuffed with what appeared to be a denim jacket and slung a small black Yves Saint Laurent handbag over her shoulder.

In the same hand, she gripped a Tupperware box containing unidentifiable items and shielded her eyes with some small black Prada sunglasses.

Calvin kept it casual for his plane journey and was seen leaving the Primrose Hill music studio dressed in a khaki baggy t-shirt and black shorts.

He wore white ankle-high socks and a pair of black Adidas trainers as he lifted two suitcases into a waiting car.

The superstar DJ was concentrated on loading up the car and was snapped wearing his new wedding band on his ring finger.

Yet to release images from their special day, the celebrations were thought to have continued into the early hours as per photos that surfaced the morning after the event.

According to the MailOnline, the celebrity guest list included Big Brother presenter AJ Odudu, BBC radio DJs Vernon Kay and Scott Mills and Jordan Nort – Vick’s Radio 1 co-host.

The publication also noted that Nile Rodgers and Chic had been flown in all the way from America to perform at the highly anticipated nuptials.

Selena Gomez is not happy with being given the meme treatment at last night’s MTV VMAs.

The Only Murders In The Building star – who took home the award for best afrobeats thanks to Calm Down, her collaboration with Rema – unwittingly went viral for some of her facial expressions during the ceremony.

At one point, the camera panned over to the 31-year-old as she scrunched up her face when Chris Brown’s name was read out as part of the best R&B category, which was eventually claimed by SZA.

Her fearful reaction amid Olivia Rodrigo’s epic performance of Vampire also made the rounds on social media, but she later insisted that she ‘heard a loud noise’ which ‘scared’ her.

Taking to Instagram, the singer decided that enough was enough and spoke out against the reaction.

‘I will never be a meme again,’ she penned on her story. ‘I’d rather sit still than be dragged for being myself. Much love.’

While it’s not clear exactly what Selena was referring to, it came hours after her headline-making appearance at the Prudential Center in New Jersey.

The Lose You To Love Me musician looked incredible on the night, donning an intricate red gown with floral fringe detailing and a daring slit.

She was awarded the best afrobeats gong for her track with Calm Down, and was visibly emotional as she told the crowd: ‘Thank you so much, Rema, for believing in me.

‘Thank you for choosing me to be part of an incredible song that has been able to break records.

‘Thank all of you for listening, for streaming, I could not be more honored. I want to send all my love to Nigeria.’

‘Africa in the house tonight!,’ Rema said, before thanking those who ‘opened the doors’ for him, including Burna Boy, Wizkid and Davido.

‘I want to give big thanks to God, I want to give big thanks to my fans,’ he continued.

‘I want to give big thanks to my team. Big shout out to Selena, I love you from the bottom of my heart.

Katherine Ryan was supported by the British Transport Police after revealing that her 14-year-old daughter was sexually harassed on the tube last month.

In August, the 40-year-old comedian spoke frankly about the unwanted male attention her teenage daughter Violet gets when she’s out and about.

Doting mum Katherine explained that during a recent day out, Violet and her 16-year-old cousin were ‘sexually harassed by grown men everywhere they went’.

She also detailed one particularly disturbing moment in which her daughter and niece were filmed riding public transport.

Chatting to Metro.co.uk this week, Katherine confirmed Lucy D’Orsi, the Chief Constable of British Transport Police, had reached out about the incident.

‘They take this very seriously. They were hot on it,’ the star shared.

She then read out the following message from Lucy: ‘I’m the Chief Constable of British Transport Police.

‘I listened to your podcast where you talked about Violet and her cousin’s dreadful experience in London. That was completely unacceptable. I have responsibility for policing the tube and trains.’

Reading aloud, Katherine continued: ‘If you’ve not reported this already, please do so. I’m trying to encourage young women and girls to report unwanted behaviour.

‘The behaviour you describe can escalate into more serious violence. We take a zero-tolerance policy, happy to chat.’

The TV star then noted: ‘They reached out right away. I feel a lot better about my daughter travelling on the underground when I know it’s policed by [someone like] Lucy.’

Speaking on her Telling Everybody Everything podcast, Katherine said last month: ‘There’s no mistaking Violet’s age. She’s 14, she has braces on her teeth. Anyone looking at these girls, no one is mistaking them for being adult women.

‘Maybe someone might hope that Lily’s 18, nevertheless, you’re a sick freak and you shouldn’t be chatting to teenage girls the way you are.’

‘My husband and I do this organically when we’re watching films and TV when everyone’s in bed.

‘Anytime I see something, like cannoli on The Sopranos, anything like that – even if it’s a cartoon – I just crave it straight away.

‘We’re always copying what we see, and that’s what The Dinner Show is all about.’

Katherine and her family have already settled on their favourite dishes, with her daughter loving the Upside Down umami grilled cheeseburger (based on, you guessed it, Stranger Things).

While we’re on the subject of teenagers and cooking, Katherine adds of Gousto: ‘I think it’s a brilliant way to prepare teenagers for adult life – cooking for themselves.

‘It teaches you what goes together and what doesn’t. Instinctively I’m a better chef.’

Laura Anderson suffered a traumatic birth when welcoming her newborn daughter, including a dangerous haemorrhage.

The reality star, 34, and her ex, Hollyoaks star Gary Lucy, 41, welcomed their first child together in September, after first meeting on Celebs Go Dating.

Announcing baby girl Bonnie’s birth by saying she was ‘happy and in love,’ it was nevertheless a difficult experience for Laura, who previously revealed she was suffering from bruising and mastitis.

Now the Love Island star has gone into detail on the birth, bravely admitting it was ‘horrendous’ and at times ‘mentally torturous.’

She took to Instagram on Tuesday where she vegan by detailing getting ‘four sweeps’ to try and induce labour, before getting a painful balloon induction which left her unable to walk.

Eventually the TV star opted for the hormone induction, going into labour immediately – but the contractions lasted for 12 hours before she was finally four centimetres dilated and brought to the labour ward.

Laura said it was ‘mentally quite torturous’ to be in labour for so long with no pain relief – but things started moving too quickly after that, as reported by The Sun.

She explained that she began bleeding in the labour ward, and went from four to nine centimetres dilated in just an hour, using gas and air for pain relief – but it wouldn’t work as she was breathing in too quickly.

Despite the pain she was in, Laura admitted she felt ’embarrassed’ to be making too much noise or to be seen as ‘over dramatic,’ and continuously apologised, before eventually pleading for an epidural.

Unfortunately, at nine centimetres she was first told she was too far gone for an epidural to work and was offered different pain relief – but when none of them worked, she was eventually given the injection, which was ‘the best thing ever.’

‘So then I pushed her out, couldn’t feel anything,’ Laura regaled her followers.

‘They were like “push from your bum,” and I was like, “I can’t feel my bum.”‘

After safely welcoming Bonnie, Laura’s recovery was only just beginning, as she suffered a painful second-degree tear and required stitches.

‘Five hours later I had a haemorrhage,’ she revealed.

The incident happened while she was alone and trying to catch some sleep, when she ‘stood up and lost loads of blood.

‘Like loads of clots and I felt really, really faint. I couldn’t reach the buzzer and I don’t know if I shouted but someone came in.’

Recalling the terrifying experience, she went on: ‘I just stayed calm because I thought, “I’ve got everybody around me that needs to be here, doing everything they can.”

‘So I am a bit better in emergencies like that than like smaller things, if I stub my toe it’s the end of the world,’ she joked.

The new mum lost a total of 1.6 litres of blood, admitting it was ‘scary’ – but ‘it’s all worth it and I would do it again.’

That said, she had advice for any mums-to-be: ‘Don’t be the hero. Get the epidural at 4cm.’

Laura previously revealed some nasty bruises on her arm as she jokingly revealed the ‘glamorous life of post-partum.’

The Love Island star also said in her post that she’s desperate to catch up with her friends but there are ‘not enough hours in the day’.

It seems her family are also yet to visit, as she stated sadly that ‘everyone has Covid.’

As for other aspects of her health, Laura went on to share that she has mastitis ‘already’ and was picking up antibiotics to treat it.

Mastitis is an inflammation of breast tissue that sometimes involves an infection.

Ariana Grande and Wicked co-star Ethan Slater’s messy romance rumours have heated up as they’re said to be living together in New York City.

The 30-year-old has been keeping her love life incredibly quiet amid rumours she’s dating the Spongebob actor.

The explosive rumours began days after Ariana split from her husband Dalton Gomez, 28, who she wed back in 2021.

It’s now reported that Ariana and Dalton have taken the next step in their relationship by moving in together.

The rumoured couple are said to be living in an NYC apartment, according to the Daily Mail, with a source claiming: ‘It is just so strange that she is living with Ethan and has not filed documents to end it with Dalton.’

It’s said that Ethan needs to be in the city to prepare for his upcoming role in the Broadway production of Spamalot.

Wicked filming began in December 2022, with the Popular songstress portraying Glinda the good witch opposite Cynthia Erivo’s Elphaba.

Broadway star Ethan joined the cast as munchkin Boq, who tries to win Glinda’s affection while at school to no avail.

If rumours are to be believed, Ethan had better luck wooing Ariana than Boq did Glinda, as the pair were ‘all over’ each other at a party in March.

The 31-year-old was married to Lilly Jay and had just had a child with her last year when he was linked to the REM founder.

In late July, both Ariana and Ethan split from their respective partners, although nothing between them had been confirmed.

Lilly, Ethan’s wife, reportedly said the Problem singer was ‘not a girl’s girl’ having been on double dates together and added her family was ‘just collateral damage’.

By August, the Wicked pair were said to be taking some time ‘apart’ amid the rumours, with things heating up as claims emerged that they had been ‘sloppy’ on set.

Ethan made his Instagram page private amid the drama as fans noticed Ariana had been consistently liking his posts, including those with his family.

He returned to the platform with an announcement that he would be appearing on Broadway in Spamalot, which Ariana promptly liked.

The supposed couple haven’t been photographed together since the rumours emerged, opting to stay away from the spotlight.

According to People, the ‘entire situation has been blown out of proportion’ and isn’t as it was portrayed ‘in public’.

They added that the pair were ‘just trying to navigate their new relationship in private’ but reiterated that both were separated when they began seeing each other.

Neither has publicly commented on the rumours, with Ariana posting solely about her beauty business and music releases.

Sophie Ellis-Bextor has been in the game for over 25 years and despite the arrival of five little ones, she’s never taken her finger off the pulse.

The Murder On The Dancefloor singer, 43, shares her sons Sonny, Kit, Ray, Jesse and youngest son Mickey with her husband and The Feeling’s bassist Richard Jones.

Performing up and down the country, the star revealed she worked her music career around her family life and admitted things were sometimes more difficult than they seemed.

She explained how she managed to keep all her plates spinning as she geared up to embark on another string of gigs following a packed-out festival season.

Speaking exclusively to Metro.co.uk ahead of her set at Cumbria’s Whitehaven Alive festival, the singer revealed what it was really like being a mum on tour.

Sophie shared: ‘I’ve been feeling my own way, really. My eldest is going to be 20 next April so I’ve been a singer with a child for the majority of it now.

‘But it’s definitely something I think about a lot. I find it endlessly fascinating to hear how people’s careers have been affected by being a mother.

‘I suppose it’s a little bit of the juggle and the compartmentalisation you have to do and feeling a bit torn sometimes and I think it’s ongoing and some weeks I get to the end of it and I think, “Oh, I, I got it pretty good”.’

The star went on to outline the hardships attached to being a musician and a mum: ‘Other weeks I think, “Ah, I neglected my work a bit or I wasn’t doing enough to make sure the kids feel like they’ve got everything they need”.

‘I think it’s just a lot of solidarity – both the women that are in my band were also mums too, so I suppose there’s lots of conversations that overlap.

‘I’m lucky that I can shape my work a bit more around my kids. I think there’s much harder jobs to have than being a musician, but it still comes with its own challenges.

‘I run my own gig really. If I decide I want to bring my kids with me on the tour bus, then that’s what happens. If I say I’m going to take that week off because it’s half term, I can do that.

‘The quandary is when you’re basically running your own business, it’s in you that you want to keep going – particularly if you adore what you do – and every musician I know finds turning down work really hard.’

Sophie teased details about her upcoming winter extravaganza she’s called the Christmas Kitchen Tour.

‘So, it’s basically having a party with my songs, some covers that I’d done during the lockdown discos and just trying to have a really good party all together under one roof.

‘I just thought Christmas is a pretty ripe time for parties and fun, so I just want to make it festive and cosy and have everybody leave with a bit of a spring in their step.

‘I do take it really seriously that people come to see me. I just want to put as much as I can into it to make sure that people feel they made the right choice by spending their evening with me.’

Strictly Come Dancing’s Amy Dowden has had a tough year, following her breast cancer diagnosis this spring.

The professional dancer has tried to remain in high spirits throughout her journey, and despite being unable to perform in this year’s series of Strictly, was able to reunite with her co-stars at the Strictly reunion last night, which she described as ‘just the tonic’ she needs amid her health battle.

Amy has been supported throughout her cancer diagnosis by friends and family, including her husband Ben Jones, who she recently celebrated her first wedding anniversary with and her twin sister, who she spent her birthday with last month.

Who is Amy Dowden’s husband?

Amy and husband Ben Jones, married in a romantic ceremony in Wales in July 2022, after their wedding was postponed twice due to the Covid pandemic.

The couple’s wedding was attended by family and friends, including Amy’s Strictly co-star Dianne Buswell, who served as a bridesmaid.

She told Hello! Magazine at the time: ‘It was a stunning venue. I always knew I wanted to get married in Wales.

‘The day was a celebration of Ben and me.’

Like his wife, Ben is also a professional dancer and the couple were once British National Latin Dance champions, becoming the first all-British pair to win the competition.

The couple first me in 2011 and Ben proposed to Amy on New Year’s Eve in 2017.

In and Instagram post, she said: ‘I’m sorry it’s not the birthday planned. Better times ahead and we will have even more to celebrate. Smile and look forward whilst you get up to your antics.’

Keira Knightley revealed she was considering copyrighting her face amid fears technology would steal her likeness in the future.

The Pirates of the Caribbean, 38, explained that she was concerned about the rise in artificial intelligence (AI) and believed she needed to take steps to protect her own face in the future.

‘At the moment for actresses the concern is about the voice, and they’re trying to protect the voice-over industry. I don’t know where that’s at, but I know that’s in negotiation,’ she said.

The star continued telling the Daily Telegraph newspaper: ‘But I imagine you’re right, the next step will be to copyright my face.

‘AI has the potential to be catastrophic – I hope governments come in and regulate it.’

Keira also called for better internet and social media regulation, admitting she found platforms such as Instagram ‘chilling’ and she was concerned they could have a damaging influence on her daughters – Delilah, eight, and Edie, four – as they got older.

She said: ‘I’m a big one for internet regulation too. One hundred per cent. Social media needs to be regulated.

‘I’m not on it, but I’ve got two girls and it’s chilling – I want them to be able to use that space to connect and be creative, but in a safe way.’

The A-lister has no plans to give into her eldest child’s current demands for a phone of her own.

Asked when she would allow her to have one, she joked: ‘25. I think them not being protected is ridiculous, we protect them everywhere else, why not online as well?’

The Boston Strangler actress was happy to speak candidly about how ‘messy’ motherhood could be because she felt it was ‘unhelpful’ to promote the idea that being a parent is idyllic.

She explained: ‘As soon as I became a mother, I was absolutely shocked at how alone we all felt, and how far the experiences of me and my friends were from what was being represented publicly.

‘[Saying it is easy] felt like a shame and a waste and unhelpful. Because part of the beauty, I think personally, in motherhood, is the mess, and the fact that everybody is in constant crisis.

‘Motherhood can be amazing and heroic but it can only be all of those things if you admit that it’s the most difficult thing you’re ever going to do.

‘And that it’s a mess most of the time, and there is heroism and beauty in that, but only if you accept it for what it is.’

Millie Bobby Brown was supported by her fiancé Jake Bongiovi at the London launch of her debut novel, Nineteen Steps.

The special event was held at the Hackney Empire on Tuesday night, with the 19-year-old caught in the rain as she arrived.

Stanger Things star Millie looked chic in a black one-shouldered top with buckle detailing, which she tucked into matching pair of trousers and accessorised with strappy heels.

She also opted for glamorous waist-length extensions in her hair, which she wore half up and half down, to show off her statement stud earrings, with a strand separated to fall over her face on either side.

Grasping an umbrella to keep herself and her partner shielded from the shower, the actress and Florence by Mills beauty founder hung back as Jake, 21, led the way to the entrance, holding her hand.

He was dressed in brown jeans, a striped shirt and trainers as he guided his fiancée, who he proposed to in April.

Nineteen Steps is a World War II romance novel based on stories Millie’s grandmother told her as a child, and follows heroine Nellie Morris, who lives with her family in Bethnal Green during World War II, as she meets American airman Ray.

But her newfound happiness is short-lived when a tragic accident occurs during an air raid. 

The book was published on Tuesday, with Millie taking to Instagram to announce the news as she held up a copy, enthusing: ‘The day has finally come! I’m so excited to share it with you all.’

The book was penned alongside ghostwriter Kathleen McGurl, with Millie also paying tribute to her as they posed for a photo together backstage at the launch.

‘A HUGE thank you to my collaborator @kathleenmcgurl – I couldn’t have done this without you!’ she wrote in the caption.

Kathleen responded: ‘It was fabulous to chat with you before tonight’s show! I’m loving listening to you talk about the book so passionately.

‘It was a privilege working with you on this, especially sharing Nanny Ruth’s precious memories.’

During an appearance on Lorraine yesterday morning, the Enola Holmes actress also revealed her future plans for Nineteen Steps.

When host Lorraine Kelly asked the teenage star if there was a plan to make a film out of the ‘cinematic’ book, Millie confirmed that was always the plan.

‘Definitely,’ she said. ‘That was the intention behind it,’ adding it’s ‘in her nature.’

‘Naturally, I just want to create more so this is a great foundation.’

The Eleven actor said she is ‘gravitated to things that mean something to me’ and through her acting is ‘committed to moving people with what I do.’

Lorraine pointed out that the novel could potentially be made into a major ’28-part Netflix series,’ but the teenager laughed in response.

‘I’ve been there, done that, let’s just say that,’ she said – ahead of the final series of Stranger Things, currently delayed due to the Hollywood strikes.

Millie also spoke very briefly about her engagement to Jake, who is the son of musician Jon Bon Jovi.

While Lorraine pressed on whether the rock star – who has given their union his public blessing – would sing at the reception, Millie stayed coy and said simply that it was all ‘very exciting.’

Liam Payne had been enjoying a one year anniversary trip in Lake Como with his girlfriend Kate Cassidy when he was hospitalised for ‘agonising’ pain.

The pair spent a romantic day together in the sunshine just days before he was rushed into treatment with what is reported to be a serious kidney infection.

Before this concerning change in his health, Liam and Kate had been happily wandering around the Mandarin Hotel in Lake Como together.

The pair walked around in the sunshine, admiring the views and leafy green gardens, much like a romance novel.

The 30-year-old looked relaxed, showing off his tattoo sleeves in a white Nike T-shirt over some black shorts.

Kate, 24, wore a comfy stone-coloured dress with her hair flowing in the breeze, complete with sunglasses and a little red handbag.

Liam has already had to postpone his tour due to his health which he announced to disappointed fans.

A trip to hospital ruined his birthday too and now sources say this infection has left him in ‘agonising’ pain.

The source told The Sun: ‘Naturally he is gutted that his and Kate’s trip to Lake Como has been ruined but at least she was there to help him when he fell ill.

‘Doctors have warned him not to expect to be signed off to go home for at least another six days.’

The Strip That Down singer was ‘in a bad way’ as he was rushed to the emergency room in an ambulance.

He’s expected to stay in hospital under observation for a few days, unfortunately for the pair on their romantic getaway.

When he postponed his South America tour on August 25, he shared that doctors had advised he rest and recover as he had a kidney infection.

Liam told fans: ‘Over the past week I’ve been in hospital with a serious kidney infection, it’s something I wouldn’t wish on anyone, and doctors orders are that I now need to rest and recover.

‘I was beyond excited to come play for you guys. To all of you who have bought tickets: I’m so sorry.’

The trip to Lake Como had been an adorable surprise organised by Liam, with flowers and chocolates on arrival.

‘About five minutes before, I found out we were going somewhere in Italy. Our flight took us directly to Milan but our final destination was about an hour and a half drive from the Milan airport,’ Kate explained in a TikTok.

It wasn’t until they arrived that she realised they were on her ‘dream’ holiday in Lake Como.

Liam has been with Kate since July 2022, although they are thought to have split briefly in May 2023 before rekindling the romance.

It’s not sure exactly how the pair met but Kate works as an influencer and model.

She hails from New Jersey, US, but according to reports lives mainly in London now, although last year the pair headed back to her home in the States for Christmas with her family.

Nick Jonas was seen asking fans to stop throwing items on stage during the Jonas Brothers’ California show on Monday.

The band is currently in the middle of their Five Albums, One Night world tour and this week, 30-year-old Nick was seen in new footage expertly handling what could have been a painful situation.

Standing on the edge of the stage, a bracelet was seen whizzing past the star’s head in a fan-shared video, prompting Nick to shake his head.

The doting dad was then seen sternly telling someone in the audience to ‘stop’ before continuing to sing his band’s hit Rollercoaster.

Fans have been paying close attention to Joe Jonas’ behaviour on stage, with the dad-of-two having recently confirmed his split from Sophie Turner after four years of marriage.

From crying onstage to thanking fans for their support, 34-year-old Joe has landed his group in plenty of headlines.

Following rumours of a split after pictures emerged of Joe without his wedding ring, he obtained a petition for dissolution of marriage in Miami Dade County, Florida, earlier this month.

Game of Thrones star Sophie, 27, then confirmed in a statement shared on social media that they were parting ways.

The BBC responded to claims Roisin Murphy had been cancelled from their scheduling following her criticism of puberty blockers.

The Irish singer-songwriter came under fire online after she shared a comment on her personal Facebook page about the process by which puberty is slowed down in transitioning and gender-diverse youth.

Since then, she has attempted to apologise for any offence she had caused and released a lengthy statement on Twitter claiming she would not speak on the issue any further.

Despite her sorry words, it was suggested online that the national broadcaster decided against releasing a celebratory segment that featured five hours of her career highlights.

The star’s tracks, concert moments and interviews were supposedly queued to make up a large chunk of 6 Music Artist Collection however have since been replaced with content from rapper Little Simz.

However a spokesperson from the BBC told Metro.co.uk: ‘The Artist Collections from our archive are regularly on rotation and frequently change to reflect station-wide initiatives as they get confirmed.

‘Little Simz was scheduled to reflect 6 Music’s Way With Words programming, which celebrates poetry, rap and spoken word, and airs the following week, tying in with National Poetry Day.

‘There was no other reason for the change. Róisín Murphy has been played on 6 Music recently and her Artist Collection remains in rotation.’

The BBC’s statement came in response to messages questioning the suggest cancellation of the singer on the programme.

Presenter Andrew Neil demanded an explanation for the switch up on Twitter.

He penned to his followers: ‘Can BBC Verify or the @bbcpress verify or deny that singer Roisin Murphy has been cancelled by the BBC after criticising puberty blockers?

‘Five hours of Ms Murphy’s songs, interviews and highlights of her concerts were put together for a programme called the 6 Music Artist Collection. This now appears to have been pulled.

‘Also reports that old radio programmes she was in have been removed from BBC Sounds. True?

‘Meanwhile Ms Murphy is making abject apologies for her apostasy in questioning puberty blockers. She will quickly find out that no matter how grovelling the apology, the extremists she has offended can never be assuaged.’

Roisin was slammed by fans for her ‘ignorant views’, and explained she was ‘sorry [her] comments have been directly hurtful to many’.

She posted on her own Twitter account: ‘I cannot apologise enough for being the reason for this eruption of damaging and potentially dangerous social-media fire and brimstone.

‘To witness the ramifications of my actions and the divisions it has caused is heartbreaking.’

Amanda Holden isn’t worried about having an empty nest as she can’t wait to spend more alone time with her husband Chris Hughes.

The radio star, 52, and record producer Chris, married in 2008 and share two daughters: Lexi, 17, and 11-year-old Hollie.

It’s still a number of years before Hollie gets ready to make her own way in the world, but Lexi will be an adult in just a few months – and Amanda ‘can’t wait’.

She said she feels most couples fear their children leaving home because they realise they and their spouse ‘don’t have anything in common’ anymore.

Whereas she and Chris joke to the children: ‘”You can leave now,” because we still have so much in common, we’re excited about being left on our own.’

Continuing that they were ‘excited to becoming empty nesters,’ she acknowledged they have ‘ages to go’ before Hollie leaves home, and for now they ‘do everything as a unit.’

She added to the Daily Mail that she and Chris had gone on holidays this year and it was like their ‘third or fourth honeymoon,’ and that her 50s was the ‘happiest I’ve ever been.’

It comes after Amanda shared a gorgeous snap of her with both her daughterson holiday in Greece, eldest Lexi looking like her mum’s mini-me.

The snap showed the trio out on the waters, Amanda and Lexi gazing off into the distance while the wind ruffled their honey-coloured hair.

Hollie, meanwhile, smiled directly up at the camera, her own hair in a braid.

Sitting at the front of a boat as the sun set behind them, Amanda looked typically fabulous in a chic gold dress, posing with her daughters before the family enjoyed a trip to glamorous Corfu restaurant The White House.

She sweetly captioned her post: ‘Me and my girls.’

Weeks later, the trio were on another lavish trip, this time to Italy where Amanda was filming the second series of renovation show The Italian Job, where she was also joined by her sister Debbie.

As their trip came to an end, Amanda revealed that she and her girls had been staying at the newly refurbished La Serena Hotel.

Proud mum Shakira, 46, who shares her boys with footballer ex Gerard Piqué, was accompanied on the pink carpet by Milan, 10, and eight-year-old Sasha.

The Hips Don’t Lie chart-topper looked sensational in a gold floor-length backless lamé gown with a draped neckline and daring cut-outs.

She wore her long hair loose and let the dress do most of the talking as she accessorised only with a collection of rings.

Meanwhile, her sons looked snazzy in matching black hooded tracksuits with a gold pattern down the sleeves and sides.

After smiling for photos alongside Shakira, they were also pictured inside during the ceremony held at the Prudential Centre in Newark.

With Waka Waka singer Shakira in a fresh Elizabeth Hurley-inspired outfit of a Grecian-inspired light blue Versace dress held together with statement gold safety pins, Milan and Sasha beamed as they flanked their mum on either side, both tightly holding her hand.

Sasha also gave his mum a kiss on the cheek at one point too.

With her Vanguard win, which she received from Hips Don’t Lie collaborator Wyclef Jean, Shakira joins the likes of Beyonce, Britney Spears and Nicki Minaj in an elite club.

She is also the first South American star to be awarded the prize, and in her acceptance speech called out her creative collaborators alongside her sons, adding: ‘I want to thank my parents and my kids, Milan and Sasha, who are here. Thank you so much for cheering me up and making me feel that Mama can do it all.

‘Especially I want to share this award with my fans, who always, always support me through thick and thin. Thank you so much for being my army and helping me fight all my battles. Este es para mi gente.’

Shakira also wowed with a stunning performance of a medley of her biggest hits, including Wherever, Whenever, Hips Don’t Lie, She Wolf, Objection (Tango).

The star put on quite the show, as promised by the sneak peek she’d offered of rehearsals on her Instagram, where she posed with both legs behind her head, no big deal.

Her set also featured a rock star-style crowd surf because at this stage, why the heck not?

Shakira and her sons moved to Miami from Barcelona in April, following her June 2022 split from their dad Gerard, 36, after 11 years together.

The Spanish athlete has since moved on with Clara Chia Marti, 24, who he was spotted with on a Croatian break last week, having first been linked in August 2022.

Shakira has seemingly thrown shade at the couple in recent music releases, with her single BZRP Music Session #53 appearing to reference his new relationship.

In the lyrics, she sings: ‘Sorry baby, I should have thrown you out a while ago / A she-wolf like me is not for rookies / A she-wolf like me is not for guys like you / I’m too good for you, and that’s why you’re with someone just like you.’

Gerard and Clara went public with their relationship shortly after the song was released, and a month later Shakira released TQG which discusses watching a former partner move on.

She sings: ‘Seeing you with the new one hurt me / But I’m already set by myself.’

In June, Shakira reflected on their split in an interview with People en Español.

The hitmaker touched on rumours that Gerard had cheated on her while she was with her poorly 91-year-old father in hospital.

Shakira told the outlet: ‘While he [her dad] was at Milan’s first communion, he was gravely injured in an accident. Everything happened at once. My home was falling apart.’

She continued: ‘I was finding out through the press that I had been betrayed while my dad was in the ICU.’

The very public split and subsequent hospitalisation of her father left Shakira feeling like she was not ‘going to survive’, especially as she is so close to her family.

A star-studded line-up joined forces in New York City to raise money for domestic abuse survivors at the second annual Caring For Women gala.

Leading the charge, Kim Kardashian, 42, dazzled in a crystalised baby pink glittering gown that clung to her curves from her neck down to her ankles.

The dress pooled around her feet in a mermaid-style train and followed behind her as she walked the red carpet ahead of the glamorous evening.

Posing up a storm in the semi-sheer Balenciaga creation, the star matched her makeup to her outfit with plenty of pink blusher and a glossy pink lip.

She let her long raven hair hang over her shoulders in loose beachy waves and finished off her look with some nude heels.

Black Mirror actress Salma Hayek, 57, oozed glamour as she waltzed onto the carpet in a burgundy gown adorned with shimmering sequins.

The A-lister’s strapless dress featured a plunging neckline and a long slit up her leg that finished right above her knee.

She added a pair of strappy black heels to her look and accessorised with a black clutch bag which she held down by her side.

The star kept everything else fairly simple, wearing her shoulder-length hair down in soft curls and natural makeup.

Olivia Wilde, 39, opted for a suit combination and stunned in a satin all-black ensemble as she attended the event in the American city.

The Don’t Worry Darling star wore tailored skinny suit trousers that she paired with an oversized blazer, featuring darker satin lapels and cuffs.

She flashed her midriff and chest as she ditched a top and instead put on a silky black bralette underneath the jacket which she left hanging open.

Adding some sparkle, Olivia strapped her feet into some open-toed silver strappy heels and wore matching bling around her neck in the form of two necklaces.

She let her blonde hair out in messy waves and chose a dramatic smoky eye as her makeup for the star-studded evening.

Elsewhere Zoe Kravitz was a vision in silver as she stepped out in a halter-neck floor-length elegant dress.

Nicole Kidman turned heads in a blue ruffled strapless gown that hit the ground in eggshell-coloured tendrils.

Winner of the night, queen of the VMAs, and artist of the year, Miss Taylor Swift can do it all – except stop her expensive jewellery from breaking.

She may have taken home nine awards, including video of the year and album of the year, but she wasn’t as bejewelled as when she arrived.

The Anti-Hero singer, who was out for dinner with famous friends days before, accidentally broke one of her rings and the look on her face is absolutely priceless.

Her ring, however, did have a price – an estimated $12,000 (£9,600).

The ring was gold, with twisted detailing around a huge onyx stone that had more gold detailing and a diamond centre.

As the awards rolled on, Taylor spoke to security, pulling a face as she showed the ring, which was now missing it’s whopping stone.

According to Taylor Swift style sources, who shared her outfit cost breakdown the beautiful piece was from Van Cleef & Arpels, a designer jewellery maker.

The VMA winner wore a black asymmetric gown and was dripping in gold and silver, wearing a vintage diamond necklace costing over $65k (£52k).

This was paired with another $43.5k (£34.8k) gold necklace, more expensive rings and numerous other pieces we imagine cost a pretty penny.

For swifties waiting on the Reputation (Taylor’s Version) announcement, don’t panic but this look also included what looks like a gold snake bracelet.

Those jewellery pieces all survived the night but Taylor looked incredibly sorry as she showed the missing stone to a guard.

The Eras Tour star had worn it when on stage for previous awards but when accepting her big Video of the Year win, the gold ring had vanished.

But as Girl in Red told Metro.co.uk: ‘Taylor never complains’, so the Electric Touch singer swiftly got involved in a search for the missing gem.

A video showed Taylor ducking down as a staff member pointed to the floor, appearing to have spotted it.

Carefully she then stood back up and inspected the ring but it’s unclear if she found the broken part.

We’d be mortified too, even if we were the biggest recording artist in the world and a millionaire.

Despite the outfit disaster, Taylor appeared to be having a great night with videos of her dancing and singing along to performances popping up online.

She went on stage to collect her many, many awards, albeit without her gorgeous ring.

Davina McCall has shared her tips for keeping the relationship with boyfriend Michael Douglas ‘magical’.

The former Big Brother host, 55, is presenting hit new ITV dating show My Mum, Your Dad, which sees the adult children of singletons trying to set their parents up to find love again.

And despite being surrounded by budding relationships, Davina has no interest in rejoining the dating pool as she shares her happiness with boyfriend Michael, 48.

The pair made their romance public in 2019, two years after Davina’s marriage breakdown with husband Matthew Robertson, who she had been with for 17 years.

Davina and hairstylist Michael seem head-over-heels for one another, and often work together, including on podcast Making The Cut, but also keep their personal life private.

This, Davina says, is the secret to keeping their romance magic.

‘I give so much of myself to the public that I need something just for me,’ she explained, saying ‘keeping my love life private …. keeps the magic.’

She insisted they’re not ‘purposefully trying to hide away from anyone’ but ‘privacy keeps our relationship special to us.’

‘There’s something lovely about it and that’s all it is. It keeps it really magical and I like that.’

She added to OK! that she would ‘never’ publicly talk about the ‘nitty-gritty’ in their relationship, from arguments to what they eat for breakfast – as ‘I want to keep that for me.’

The Dead Set star went on to lovingly describe Michael as ‘so funny’ and ‘just amazing,’ appearing as loved-up as ever close to five years into their relationship.

Davina and Michael live together in Kent,with two of Davina’s three children: Holly, 21, and Chester, 16.

Her middle daughter, Tilly, 19, recently moved to Australia.

Davina is helping to share the love in new dating show Your Mum, My Dad, and feels passionate about helping people find romance later in life.

Speaking at a special screening at the ITV offices ahead of the first episode airing, she said: ‘I just wanted to see mid-lifers represented in terms of dating.

‘In your forties and fifties and when you’ve got children, life is complicated, but more than ever you feel that you are at a point in your life where you deserve to find love.

‘They deserve to find love and spend the rest of their lives with somebody,’ she went on, before becoming emotional and having to pause, apologising to the audience.

‘It’s about opening the door and coming home to someone,’ she finally said.

The 33-year-old model and former partner of Kanye West snapped necks with her latest ensemble that featured a short bridal dress and extravagant veil.

Appearing almost ethereal in her getup for the city’s run of fashion shows, the star posed for cameras in the satin gown that had white embellished gloves to match.

The strapless garment was made of a tulle skirt that was adorned with white bows and intricate piping detail.

Covering her entire body, she wore a see-through veil that hung from her head and swirled around her ankles in a massive white fluffy cloud-like fringe.

Julia elevated her height in some huge chunky strappy platform heels and completed her look with red-tinted hair and a tiny white purse with the words, ‘Till Death Do Us Part’ written across the front of it, in which she carried her belongings.

The Uncut Gems actress – who was attending The Wiederhoeft show at the time of her outfit reveal – has been a bride once before.

She tied the knot with her ex-partner Peter Artemiev ​2018 before filing for a divorce two years later, in 2020.

Despite their split, the couple welcomed a son together in January 2021 who they named Valentino.

The star’s head-turning moment came after she began promoting her upcoming memoir Down The Drain – which she announced she would be releasing on October 10.

She shared a reel to Instagram in which she modelled a series of raunchy lingerie looks that saw Julia dressed in black leather, spikes and sky-high heels.

The model captioned her post: ‘Sometimes you just have to say f**k it & throw your whole life DOWN THE DRAIN!!!

‘I’ve waited for this for soooo long I literally used to pray for an opportunity like this and now that it’s here I’m actually terrified lol I didn’t use a ghost writer even tho I came close to calling one on a few occasions.

Olivia Rodrigo belted out bangers during her performance at Tuesday’s VMAs, but it was an apparent stage malfunction that really got people talking.

As the 20-year-old was knee-deep in a kickass rendition of Vampire, sparks started to flood the stage and a floor manager rushed over to Olivia and appeared to remove her from the stage.

Thankfully, the moment was all part of the show, but that didn’t stop people taking to social media to note the faux stage disaster had them going, although no one seemed quite as concerned as Selena Gomez, who was sitting in the audience.

When the camera panned to the Wolves singer, she held her hand to her face and looked worried, and her expression didn’t go unnoticed.

As Olivia’s performance aired, one person watching at home tweeted: ‘I can’t be the only confused person during this Olivia Rodrigo performance. I thought the stage was catching fire and producer escorting her [off].’

Another person added: ‘OMG NO HER STAGE FELL APART?’

Other comments included: ‘Why [did] Olivia Rodrigo seem scared by the fireworks on stage I can’t tell if it was supposed to be booming like that’ and ‘I legit thought the stage was falling apart and Olivia Isabel Rodrigo’s life flashed before her eyes. Selena looked worried and the stagehand running out to escort her off the stage sold it.’

Also picking up on Selena’s concerned look, another person wrote: ‘Olivia Rodrigo really traumatized Selena Gomez with her fake stage malfunction during her performance… Selena ain’t ever going to an awards show again.’

Selena’s facial expressions got almost more attention than the performances and awards at last night’s awards show, with people also dissecting the A-lister’s face when Chris Brown’s name was read out during the ceremony.

The former Disney star seemingly scrunched up her face when Chris’ name was said aloud in the best R&B category for his feature on How Does It Feel by Chlöe.

Chris missed out on the award, with the gong going to SZA for Shirt.

Meanwhile, Selena scooped the best Afrobeats trophy at the star-studded bash for her collaboration with Rema on Calm Down.

Once again, people rushed to Twitter to talk about Selena’s reaction, with one person tweeting: ‘Selena Gomez’s reaction to Chris Brown is SO FUNNY.’

Other comments included: ‘I thought everyone had forgiven Chris Brown. I’m glad Selena Gomez is the only normal one’ and ‘Selena Gomez grimacing and not clapping when a Chris Brown song was said during the nominees… love her.’

Gordon Ramsay is worried about the idea of having any more children.

The celebrity chef, 56, and wife Tana, 49, are already parents to a brood of five children, and have discussed having more.

Together they have Megan, 25, twins Holly and Jack, 23, Tilly, 21, and youngest son Oscar, four.

And, Gordon has revealed, Tana ‘wants another one’ – but he’s concerned.

He made the revelation on the Dish podcast with Nick Grimshaw and Angela Hartnett, and first spoke about the complication of the sheer number of children, joking they would need ‘two buses’ to go out to dinner or get to school.

But the main reason, he admitted, was that he was worried about having another child at his age.

‘I’m going to be the oldest f****r at school,’ he complained.

‘”Who’s your grandad?” And what about sports day, and the egg and spoon race? What am I going to do?’

Despite all of this, he confessed he would ‘love another one’ but ‘five is enough for now.’

It comes after Gordon appeared to tease that he and Tana had another child on the way last year, but it turned out to be a badly worded joke.

Appearing on Heart Breakfast with Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden, the chef teased that he might have ‘one more on the way’ when asked about how many children he had.

He also has plenty more to worry about, admitting he lives in fear of one of his daughters appearing on Love Island.

He told Radio Times: ‘And Love Island thinking that, one day, one of my daughters is going to be on there without telling me. 

‘I don’t watch, just in case.’

Daughter Tilly has already begun forging a TV career, having appeared in the 2021 series of Strictly Come Dancing and reaching the final of Celebrity MasterChef Australia.

The MTV VMAs were packed with incredible performances, record-breaking wins and even it seemed a little bit of drama backstage between Megan Thee Stallion and Justin Timberlake.

MTV’s popular award show has seen some serious beef over the years and this year it seemed was less than pleased with Megan and Justin.

Justin, 42, was reunited with bandmates NSYNC for the first time in years and presented the award for Best Pop to winner of the night Taylor Swift.

However, a video of them meeting the WAP rapper backstage appears to show Megan kicking off at the pop icon for a comment he made.

She raises her hand and wags her finger at him after speaking briefly while she got ready to go on stage.

Megan appears to look flustered and a little bit annoyed after the interaction but an insider has cleared up the whole thing – there’s no drama here.

Megan quickly hit back at the speculation on Instagram, sharing a video with Justin as they laughed and joked together backstage.

Although their conversation was muted, with Do As Infinity playing over the top, she addressed the rumours, joking: ‘I just talk with my hands lol @justintimberlake love ya.’

If that wasn’t clear enough, a source told Variety that there was ‘zero fight’ between the two music icons so don’t worry we could still get a Megan x NSYNC track one day.

According to the insider, Justin said: ‘It’s so nice to meet you,’ and she replied: ‘No, no this don’t count, this don’t count. We gotta meet proper.’

Megan’s animated response to seeing the NSYNC boys before quickly returning to her professional mode possibly made it seem like she was mad.

‘It was very cute,’ the source added, which is backed up by bandmate Joey Fatone laughing as the interaction unfolded.

A second eyewitness source shared: ‘Meg loves Justin. She was saying “No, no, no, we’ve never met before.” It was their first time meeting and she was excited.’

All love then and the VMAs go unscathed for drama this year – except for the iconic moment Selena Gomez let her dislike of Chris Brown be known.

Megan took home three VMAs this year and performed her new song Bongos with Cardi B to fans’ delight.

The undeniable winner of the evening was Taylor Swift who along with the award presented by NSYNC took home a total of nine wins, including artist of the year.

Tess Daly paid tribute to her husband Vernon Kay with an adorable social media throwback in celebration of their wedding anniversary.

The 54-year-old TV presenter shared old snaps from her wedding ceremony to the 49-year-old former I’m A Celebrity campmate on Instagram.

The famous couple tied the knot in 2003 and welcomed their daughters Phoebe, 18, and Amber, 13 together.

Marking 20 years as a married duo, Tess added a caption to her post that highlighted the significance of the day.

She penned: ‘Cannot believe it’s 20 years ago today! [red love heart emojis] always @vernonkay.’

Posting a picture in black and white, the star shared an image that showed Vernon dressed in a formal suit with his arm wrapped around Tess while she gripped him around the waist wearing her wedding dress and veil.

The next photo was in colour and both Tess and her husband beamed into the distance as the camera caught an intimate moment between them.

She added a picture of a dessert that was shaped as the number 20 placed on a table next to two champagne flutes and some flowers and finished off her gallery with another glimpse at their ceremony years ago.

In the final snap, the couple were positioned in a waltz-like fashion as they danced on their special day and cuddled into one another.

Underneath the collection of memories, fans and friends jumped to the comment section to offer their well wishes and congratulations.

One said: ‘Huge happy anniversary! Can’t believe it’s 20 years since we all celebrated your marriage and partied the night away. One very special day and night. Sending much love.’

Broadcaster Victoria Derbyshire wrote: ‘Many many congratulations.’

The biggest night in music kicked off last night in New Jersey for the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) and the stars came in their droves.

Music’s biggest names descended onto the Prudential Center in Newark for the second year in a row with the likes of legends Taylor Swift, Justin Timberlake, Shakira, Lil Wayne and Mary J. Blige all in attendance.

It was well and truly Taylor’s night, as the 33-year-old superstar scooped nine prizes, and she made history as the first person to win video of the year four times.

The Cruel Summer singer also took home song of the year for her tune Anti-Hero, as well as the coveted artist of the year accolade.

Taylor also scooped the best direction, best pop, best cinematography, and best visual effects awards for Anti-Hero.

As she accepted the best pop prize she told the crowd: ‘I love making pop music, I love making pop music videos, I also love making country.

‘I love slinking around different genres and the only reason I’m allowed to do that is because you, the fans, gave me the opportunity to do this.

‘One big adventure and it’s all so much to challenge myself to make music that’s different than what I made last and I just love you for it. But I really love making pop music, so thank you so, so, so much.’

Elsewhere, Shakira – who also proved her Hips Don’t Lie in a spirited medley performance – was presented with her video vanguard award for contributions to global music by Wyclef Jean.

The evening was hosted by Nicki Minaj, who also won best hip-hop for her track Super Freaky Girl.

Meanwhile, Ice Spice was named best new artist and Stray Kids’ S-Class was awarded Best K-Pop, Anitta’s Funk Rave took the best Latin award, SZA landed best R&B thanks to song Shirt, and Mary J Blige presented the global icon award to Diddy.

One of the biggest moments of the night was seeing boyband NSYNC reunite on stage for the first time in 10 years.

Originally made up of Lance Bass, Joey Fatone, JC Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick and Justin Timberlake, the band formed in 1995 and have not performed together since the 2013 VMAs.

They took to the stage to award Taylor with her best pop gong, and she was absolutely buzzing.

Sam Smith and Ed Sheeran had a disappointing night, as not one Brit scooped an award.

There were also some pretty incredible outfits on the red carpet, with Doja Cat stealing the show in a white spider web dress.

Taylor opted for a classic black dress, as did fashion icon Rita Ora – although she added some seriously killer silver heels.

Selena Gomez glittered in a red dress, while Emily Ratajkowski looked sleek in sheer as ever in a wrap around green number, with a unique skirt that appeared to be patterned with synchronised swimmers.

Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj got all pink and bridal with a gorgeous mermaid dress and a dramatic veil, while Lil Nas X went for a similarly wedding-appropriate get up with a massive white, feathered headpiece and a lacey suit-dress, as he clutched onto a bible.

Sabrina Carpenter rocked a silver corset with a draping, white, sheer overdress, while Shakira looked super glamorous in a silver ball-gown with cut out sides and her hair curly, and natural. She also posed with her sweet sons – Sasha and Milan -on the red carpet, who looked super smart in matching black and gold tracksuits.

Other wild looks came from TV presenter Justina Valentine, who looked like an image straight out of Strictly Come Dancing with a sheer blue bodysuit, with fabulous feathered ends.

Rapper Yung Miami went for a dramatic bodysuit cut like a swimming costume, with a bird-like twist as it boasted a feathered texture and wing-like protruding arm design.

Demi Lovato looked like a leather-clad icon for the event, as she wore the biggest shoulder pads we’ve ever seen, with her dark hair slicked back.

Superstar Anitta went for a beige, sheer, tasseled number, with her auburn hair in natural waves, while Cry Me A River hitmaker Justin opted for a wintery blue cosy-looking suit, and a cream T-shirt and trouser combination.

Ice Spice wore a doll-like mini white dress clad in lace from neck to toe, with her red hair in a tight perm style, while Bebe Rexha channelled Mean Girls’ Regina George’s iconic boob cut-out top in a leather mini-dress – but did it on her bum cheeks instead.

Cardi B and Offset also locked lips on the red carpet, as the WAP singer rocked a silver dress seemingly decorated with hundreds (and hundreds) of hair clips.

It was a casual long white shirt for Lil Wayne, while Saweetie looked super edgy in a cave-person-inspired pink glittering gown, which saw a pink fake bone tied up next to her head.

Last but not least, Prince Derek Doll shone in a glittering purple dress cut from the fashion gods, with flared arms and sheer, feathered detail.

What a night.

Afrobeats star MohBad has died aged 27.

The news was confirmed in a statement posted on the Nigerian singer’s Instagram, in which his family asked for privacy.

In the statement, MohBad, real name Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, was described as a ‘light to the very end’ and said to be ‘finally at peace’.

It read: ‘It is with great sadness that we confirm the passing of Promise Oladimeji Aloba PK/A Mohbad (Imole) today, the 12th of September, 2023.

‘Mohbad was light until the very end, and as we mourn the loss of the brightness he carried, the family thanks you for your love and prayers, and asks that you continue to respect their privacy during this difficult time. Imole is finally at peace.’

The talented star’s cause of death has not yet been confirmed.

MohBad, born in 1998, was signed to Marlian Records until 2022 when he left the label.

MohBad’s promoter Ovie also confirmed the news in a statement shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, that read: ‘Confirmed. Mohbad is dead. Sad, sad day. R.I.P.’

Ovie added: ‘It’s important to apply wisdom and caution when it comes to Mohbad’s demise. I’m already seeing some wild tweets. Do not make ridiculous insinuations. Be very careful.’

MohBad is best known for songs Peace, Pariwo and Ask About Me.

Joey Akan, the founder of Afrobeats Intelligence, added on X: ‘Last time I saw Mohbad, we were in an apartment, a recording camp working on song selection for his last EP.

‘Man gave me a weird sweet red wine, and we had a little good-natured argument over the final songs to make the project and the length of the EP. Rest in peace man.’

Fans rushed to social media to mourn the loss of MohBad.

One person wrote: ‘A musical soul taken too soon. Rest in peace, Mohbad,’ while another added, ‘This one hurts real bad.’

Other tweets included: ‘Mohbad’s sudden death is heartbreaking’ and ‘Rest in perfect peace Mohbad.’

The 90s are back in a big way as NSYNC become the latest iconic pop group to reunite.

Justin Timberlake, Lance Bass, Chris Kirkpatrick, JC Chasez, and Joey Fatone were reported last month to be planning a reunion as well as a brand new song – their first in over 20 years.

But while we’ve been hurt in the past with speculation around Spice Girls reunions and Britney performing at Glastonbury, these brilliantly nostalgic rumours have come true – and the legendary group appeared together at the 2023 Video MusicAwards.

The Bye Bye Bye stars hit the stage together in their first reunion in 10 years – the last one being the 2013 VMAs, where they performed two of their biggest hits.

There was no musical performance this time around, but fans lost their minds to see the former teen heartthrobs together again to present the award for best pop.

And the winner – Taylor Swift, who else? – was also suitably freaking out as she went on stage, having also grown up with JT and the crew’s dulcet tones.

She told them eagerly that she had all of their dolls when she was growing up, and pleaded with them to ‘do something’ now they were all together.

It’s been 20 years since NSYNC last released music with their final single Girlfriend in 2002, and unfortunately, we didn’t get any confirmation on the rumoured new track set to appear on the upcoming Trolls movie, which like most Hollywood projects is affected by the strike.

But each of the members looked overjoyed to be back together, still in sync after all these years as they wore matching outfits: suits in shades of blue and grey, with T-shirts beneath.

Leading man Justin, who went on to secure an incredibly successful solo career, was the only one in a slightly different outfit, standing out in a wool blazer over a T-shirt and suit trousers.

Off-stage, the crew looked to find themselves in easy company with each other, as they posed, laughing, in an elevator.

The reunion comes after Entertainment Tonight reported the band were due to reunite and release a new single for the third Trolls movie Trolls Band Together.

If this seems like a strange choice, it’s worth remembering Justin voiced the character Branch in the first two installments of the franchise films: Trolls (2016) and Trolls World Tour (2020), and is returning for the third outing which is expected to premiere in November.

The trailer has already dropped, with plenty of hints a new NSYNC song could feature – as the movie sees Branch reveal he was once in a band, BroZone, with his brothers, but they split up.

And with one of his brothers getting kidnapped in the trailer, it’s up to them to get the band back together…
