After controversially facing the jungle on I’m A Celebrity, former Health Secretary Matt Hancock is continuing his reality TV crusade by joining Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.

A first look trailer has been released for the gruelling Channel 4 programme… and the Special Forces operatives leading the process don’t hold back from pushing the politician and the other celebrities to the absolute limit of their physical and mental capabilities.

Joining Hancock on the programme will be Gareth Gates, Michelle Heaton, Siva Kaneswaran, Danielle Lloyd, Melinda Messenger and Jermaine Pennant, as well as Gareth Thomas, James Argnet, Montana Brown, Teddy Soares, Amber Turner, Zoe Lyons, Kirsty-Leigh Porter, Perri Shakes-Drayton and Jon-Allan Butterworth.

However, we have no doubt that plenty of viewers will be tuning in with the sole purpose of watching Hancock wrestle while covered in mud, take on terrifying heights and face the unrelenting glare of hardened interrogators.

At the beginning of the trailer, the public figure has a bag torn off his head, as he stands in the pouring rain while facing those in charge of his punishing experience.

Later, he can be seen focusing with all his might while taking on a height challenge, before screwing up his face while army crawling in muddy, marshy waters.

During a wrestle with a fellow Celebrity SAS star, he’s knocked off his feet in a blow that looks like it might take the wind right out of him.

Meanwhile, during an interrogation, Hancock looks like his eyes are filling up with tears as he’s told: ‘Relax. You look like you’re about to be executed.’

Despite the ex-Secretary of State sparking huge levels of backlash when he joined the cast of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, he still wound up finishing the competition in third place, behind winner Jill Scott and runner-up Owen Warner.

It was previously claimed that during the interrogations on Celebrity SAS, Hancock will be ‘absolutely destroyed’.

‘We treat everybody the same and we really went at him,’ chief instructor Billy Billingham said earlier this year.

‘In the interrogation bit, he gets destroyed, absolutely destroyed.’

He continued to The Sun: ‘At the time I thought, “Oh, hang on, maybe this is a bit much?” But no, he deserved it.

‘The idea is every single contestant will either leave on day one or will leave as a better version of themselves and with Matt Hancock, he’s still got a long way to go.’

Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins returns to on Tuesday September 26 at 9.30pm on Channel 4.

The Graham Norton show is returning back to the screens along with a star-studded line-up.

After a well deserved break, the Irish comedian, 60, will be back fronting his titular show – which airs on Friday September 29 – and he won’t be alone.

Megastar Kylie Minogue will be promoting her upcoming album Tension alongside Peaky Blinders actor Stephen Graham who’ll be discussing about the TV spin-off of his 2021 movie Boiling Point.

Peep Show show star David Mitchell Taskmaster regular Mawaan Rizwan will also be making an appearance with Eurovision singer Mae Muller.

Tom Cruise, Jennifer Lawrence, Will Smith, Meryl Streep, Dame Judi Dench and Sir Paul McCartney are just some of mega stars who’ve made an appearance on the hit BBC programme

However, it was recently reported that due to the current Sag-Aftra strikes bosses were struggling to get the big stars.

In early July Hollywood officially went on strike after US union the Screen Actors Guild – American Federation of Television and Radio Artists voted unanimously to walk out, following weeks of unsuccessful negotiations.

The decision came after negotiations with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP) – who represent studios including Disney, Warner Brothers and Netflix – failed to produce new contracts.

Members have been seeking better pay and increased safeguarding around AI rights among their demands.

A source told The Mirror: ‘The BBC is in crisis as the Hollywood strikes are causing its flagship chat show an absolute headache for its next run later this year.’

The insider added that even British stars have refused publicity and promotion ‘out of solidarity.’

The WGA has also raised issues with the rise of streaming and Artificial Intelligence (AI) threatening the jobs of writers.

The last time there was a writer’s strike was in 2007 when work stopped for 100 days and had massive effects on the economy, costing California alone $2.1 billion (£1.6 billion).

Many famous faces have thrown their support behind the strikes, including Tom Hanks, Pete Davidson, Drew Barrymore, and US President Joe Biden.

Although My Mum, Your Dad was originally hailed as ‘middle-aged Love Island’ fans have expressed which dating show they prefer.

Davina McCall’s latest series for parents is an instant hit, with many people commenting on how emotional the first few episodes were.

This series isn’t quite as long as the ITV2 show, which is hosted by Maya Jama, so instead of six to eight weeks of grafting, viewers are being treated to 10-hour-long episodes.

Wednesday’s edition saw the parents participate in an ‘acceptance workshop’ where they all sat together in the garden and opened up on the things holding them back.

Janey, 47, from West Sussex revealed she dedicated most of her life looking after her son Will, 20, for most of his life.

‘Things hold me back I want that connection but it’s very deep-rooted, she tearfully said. ‘I am adopted I’ve got the best parents in the world but yeah it’s hard.’

Fans were moved by tonight’s episode, with some claiming this series blows Love Island ‘out of the water.’

‘#MyMumYourDad is wiping the floor with #LoveIsland, real people with life stories. I am INVESTED, their kids are a credit to them as well,’ one person wrote.

Another agreed: ‘@MyMumYourDadUK is incredibly endearing, I feel really emotional these kids absolutely dote on their parents and it’s beautiful to see although I’m only 29, I relate to this show more than I ever could love island or whatever. What a lovely show.’

A third person joked: ‘I’d watch #MyMumYourDad any day over Love Island. The only thing missing though is conversations about the latest air fryer and which 80s pop artists you had a crush on. What an absolutely brilliant show 👏.’

While another claimed they will ‘never watch Love Island again’ after tuning into the latest spin-off.

Speaking about the importance of the show at a special screening of the first episode, that took place at the ITV offices in London, host Davina also stressed how special the show is to her.

‘I just wanted to see midlifers represented in terms of dating,’ she said.

‘In your forties and fifties and when you’ve got children, life is complicated, but more than ever you feel that you are at a point in your life where you deserve to find love.

‘They deserve to find love and spend the rest of their lives with somebody. You know when,’ Davina said before abruptly having to stop talking. ‘It’s about opening the door and coming home to someone.’

My Mum, Your Dad continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV and ITVX.

Justin Roiland has been accused of using his success to lure young fans, it has been claimed.

The 43-year-old co-created the hugely popular adult animated sitcom, Rick and Morty, along with Dan Harmon, and voiced both roles.

Earlier this year, he was dropped from the program after facing domestic abuse allegations, but was later cleared of the charges.

In a bombshell new expose by NBC News, he is alleged to have used his fame to develop relationships with young – and sometimes underage – fans, with 11 people coming forward.

The outlet spoke to multiple women and nonbinary people who claim to have interacted to Roiland, with many of them, including three who were under 16 at the time, alleging that their discussions turned sexual.

The actor was accused of approaching young fans on both social media and dating apps, and would shower them in compliments before asking about their sexuality, and requesting to meet.

One woman, who remained anonymous, claimed that he messaged her on Tinder with a reference to Rick and Morty in 2019, when she was 20, and although she was unfamiliar with his work, she understood that he was famous.

The publication reports that she replied by asking if they could ‘go shopping and have fun’, while also suggesting a coffee and a chat and making him aware that she was under 21.

They reportedly met that night and went to a restaurant where he bought her ‘mixed drinks’ – she claimed that she had two beverages and felt drunk, after which they went shopping and back to his hotel room.

Roiland allegedly asked her to perform oral sex on him, which she initially refused and resisted – but he reportedly pushed her head towards his crotch.

‘From the moment it happened, I knew that it was not okay,’ she told NBC. ‘But I felt a lot of different feelings, like that it was my fault. I felt guilty for asking him to buy me stuff. I felt maybe I owed it to him. And I was embarrassed.’

They continued speaking after the incident but the woman allegedly confronted him over text messages, which were obtained by the outlet.

In the exchange, she reportedly said he didn’t handle the ‘sexual stuff’ in the best way, explaining that ‘consent is important’, to which he apologized and clarified that he ‘didn’t get consent’.

In messages published on the publication’s site, she claimed that he said he thought it ‘turned her on to be forced’.

Roiland’s attorney addressed some of the allegations made by NBC News, claiming that the creator felt ‘duped and taken advantage of’ by the woman who suggested they should go shopping, alleging that she offered to sell him her pornographic videos – but did not respond to the forced oral sex claims.

She reportedly responded that she offered to sell her content after he expressed an interest, but quoted him double the price she normally charges and never went through with it.

NBC reports that the messages they reviewed showed that he would have identical conversations with people he approached, discussing the program and his success before usually asking the recipients their ages and sexualities.

Some claimed that they were 16 at the time, with Roiland reportedly describing two unnamed women – who spoke to the outlet anonymously – as ‘jailbait’.

In May, 2016, Roiland reportedly messaged a 19-year-old when he was 36, praising her artwork – something that initially delighted the teenager.

They continued to chat and he allegedly invited her to his home in LA the following year, paying for the tickets from her home of Pennsylvania himself.

The woman revealed that her dad voiced his concerns about Roiland’s intentions, to which he vowed that he would ‘make absolutely 100% sure nothing bad would happen’, in messaged obtained by the outlet.

According to NBC, he discussed sex and asked whether she was ‘into girls’, before the trip – which took place in March, 2017.

After he threw a party to celebrate the third series of Rick and Morty, they were left alone with a female friend, when they allegedly got into the hot tub while drinking.

She explained that she doesn’t remember much of the night in question, but has full recollection of the sexual acts – alleging that Roiland asked them both to perform sexual acts on each other, before she had sex with him while the friend was there, something that she felt uncomfortable about.

After this, she said she went back to a guest room to discuss the incident with a friend on the phone, and shared her belief that she was more ‘incapacitated than usual’, and later expressed her discomfort to the star.

The woman alleged that he propositioned her for sex the following morning and she consented, but felt pressure to let him film it.

While Roiland has yet to speak out publicly over the claims, his lawyer, Andrew Brettler, added that the allegations against him are ‘false and defamatory’.

Concerning the Pennsylvania resident, Brettler claimed that the pair had ‘consensual sex’ before the alleged hot tub incident – something she said she does not remember – and added that Roiland was not responsible for sexual acts that took place between her and his friend.

Towie star Pete Wicks revealed that Holly Willoughby has made her feelings towards him known, and it isn’t positive.

The TV personality, 35, claims the This Morning host, 42,’genuinely hates’ him after claiming Holly mocked his sex life.

In the latest episode of their Staying Relevant podcast, Pete and co-host Sam Thompson discussed interviewing the presenter at this year’s National Television Awards.

Sam enthused: ‘She’s like the queen of the NTAs,’ before Pete quipped: ‘former queen.’

Pete added: ‘Okay, so I’ve met Holly quite a few times. And I think she’s really lovely. However, she’s so good at this that she’s not that interesting to interview.

‘And also I have a sneaking suspicion that she genuinely hates me.’

He added: ‘And she did throw some shade, she does it every time. So, I wasn’t that fussed.

‘I think it was from Celebrity Juice a few years ago and I think she thinks I’m some kind of f***boy a***hole and she would be absolutely correct in that but she makes it known.’

Speaking about the savage remark Holly allegedly made, Sam said: ‘Pete asked a really professional question. And Pete then went, “Yeah we know Alison [Hammond] we shared a bed with her.”

Pete interjected: ‘And she went, “That doesn’t surprise me with your track record.”‘

At this year’s NTAs, Holly spoke on the red carpet about how her year had unfolded, stating in an apparent swipe at former co-host Phillip Schofield: ‘It has been a difficult year for everybody but what’s lovely is you find that people rally around you and the goodwill is there.

‘People want things to move on. It feels different,’ she told The Sun.

Earlier this year, Phillip, 61, quit This Morning and then stepped away from ITV altogether after he admitted to lying about an affair that he had with a younger male colleague to his coworkers and loved ones.

Coleen Nolan will stay on Loose Women ‘as long as they want me,’ despite getting upset by online trolls and battling almost-daily feud rumours, which the panel laugh off.

The musician and TV star has been a staple on the daytime chat show for 23 years, with only a brief stint away from the panel in 2013 because she ‘wasn’t enjoying it at that stage’.

Since coming back however, she sees the show as her ‘second home’ and the women as her ‘sisters’ – and it upsets her that people ‘want to tear it down.’

‘Contrary to what’s being printed all over the place, it’s not a toxic environment at all in any way,’ Coleen tells Metro.co.uk ahead of the announcement of her new show and tour, Naked.

‘We do genuinely all get on like family. They are like my sisters. Sometimes I’ll think, “You’re really getting on my nerves today” – like I would with my sister – and then the next minute we’re having a coffee together or we’re laughing.’

Constantly hearing rumours or reports that the panellists secretly hate each other is ‘a shame,’ she goes on. ‘I don’t know what’s going on but people are trying to cause situations that don’t need to be there. And I think that’s sad.’

‘I couldn’t sit on a panel day in, day out next to women that I absolutely hate, and laugh at their jokes, I just couldn’t. I would leave! I left before because I wasn’t enjoying it at one point, and that was years ago.’

The cast are well aware of the rift rumours, often alluding to the claims with a tongue-in-cheek snark during the show, and Coleen reveals they often laugh at it behind the scenes too. ‘”Coleen and Ruth at war” is a good one,’ she laughs. ‘We all look at it and go, “Oh my God, we’re at war today. We hate each other this week.” It’s honestly hilarious.’

Despite how she may come across on Loose Women, Coleen admits she is ‘sensitive’ and hates when she says something that might have upset something – but is becoming ‘hardened’ to people hitting out at her on social media.

‘I’m always thinking, “Oh Christ, what have I just said?”

‘[Loose Women’s] appeal is that you can only be honest, it’s an opinion-based show. Not everyone is going to agree with your opinion. I’m quite sensitive to that but lots of the other girls aren’t bothered if they get trolled. They’re like, “well, that’s my opinion.” But I’m like, “oh no!”‘

When Loose Women first started over 20 years ago, she says, ‘you could absolutely, 100% say what your opinion is but nowadays you can’t because there’s always someone to offend.’

‘And I don’t really want to offend anyone. But I’m asked my opinion and I have to be honest, but you go, “I don’t think I should say that because I don’t want to offend.”‘

‘I never ever, ever, intentionally set out to hurt anybody or upset them. So sometimes when I get messages going “you said this, and that’s really wrong and that really upset me” – well, it upsets me that I’ve upset you because I don’t mean to. But if it’s just that someone doesn’t agree with my opinion, isn’t that what life’s about? Life would be very boring if we all agreed on everything. ‘

She points to the journalists on the panel, like Jane Moore, Janet Street Porter, as being totally hardened to people attacking their opinion online, calling them ‘brave and fearless.’

‘They want people to like them, but if they don’t [like them], what can they do? Whereas I’ll come home and go, “Why don’t they like me?” I’m like a pathetic puppy that’s been kicked. That’s what I’m like.

‘I’m getting hardened a bit to it, but what I hate is when it’s been interpreted completely the opposite how I said it. I might have an opinion and they take one line from it, and people are going “I can’t believe you said that,’ but they haven’t even watched the show, they’ve taken it from a headline! Or someone takes one line out of what I’ve said and makes a double-page spread of it. That annoys me.

‘I’m kind of learning to go, “it doesn’t matter, there’ll be a different headline next week.” But it is hard, and it’s much harder now than it was 20 years ago because of social media.’

She goes on: ‘It’s hard to do an opinion-based show nowadays, that’s why I think it’s sad when they try and tear it down because it’s the one show on telly that celebrates women of all ages, all opinions, and all different eras of how we grew up.’

Recently rumours emerged that Penny Lancaster had stepped back from the show, and Coleen grins as she admits if she was as ‘bloody rich’ as Penny, she’d do the same thing.

‘Penny hasn’t done it for months and months. She’s mainly been over in LA with Rod and he’s been touring. She only really came in when she was available, when she and Rod were in London. And then she became a Special Constable, and she’s got a family and she’s also bloody rich enough to do what she wants!

‘Not being funny, as much as I love it I probably wouldn’t spend four days away from home every week if I was loaded. “I might just do one this week!” But Penny never left on horrible terms, we all got on great with her. But she’s got other things going on in life. Her kids are still young. And she’s married to a massive rock star who tours the world. I’d rather do that to be honest!’

The panel changes semi-regularly, and Coleen has a dream team of new women she’d love to see joining the show, including Dawn French and even Adele – but most eagerly, she names Miriam Margolyes, who is ‘brilliant, she makes me belly laugh.’

‘Production wouldn’t like it, because we’re live and we’re at half past 12. So it would be very, very hard to police,’ she says, alluding to Miriam’s legendary explicit rants.

A past-the-watershed Loose Women wouldn’t work however, as Coleen reckons one of the reasons the daytime show is so popular is ‘because people like what you’re insinuating, they like an innuendo.’

‘I can look at the camera and know that Mrs Smith knows exactly what I’m thinking, whether it’s rude or angry. I don’t necessarily think people want to hear us sitting there effing and blinding and being really graphic about things. The whole funniness of it is, “I know what you’re thinking, but you can’t say it.”‘

Coleen is generally on Loose Women up to four times a week, but she’s now going back to her roots and hitting the road for her new show Naked, which sees her perform and interact with audiences across Britain.

‘You can expect every emotion going, I want people singing along, I want them crying. I want them laughing, I want them dancing. I’m going to try and make it almost autobiographical but through music, all the different parts of my life. I’m hoping to have screens up there so I can show pictures of when I was singing on stage at two years old with my family.

‘I want it to be a couple of hours where people don’t have to think about the s**t that’s going on in the world. Because let’s be honest, it’s so depressing at the moment. I just want it to be a really good fun, night-out, party kind of atmosphere.’

Jake Shears has revealed how much coffee he drinks a day… and the quantity may leave your jaws on the floor.

When it comes to the debate of how much coffee is ok to drink a day, you’re likely to receive an array of different answers.

Some may say one is enough, while others might go for multiple… but what do you think about eight shots of coffee?

In the new episode of Never Mind The Buzzcocks on Sky Max, Scissor Sisters star Jake revealed that’s how much he consumes on a daily basis – and the rest of the panel were understandably gobsmacked.

Host Greg Davies turned to the musician to ask if you would verify how much coffee he drank every day, with the 44-year-old confirming that he drinks two cappuccinos a day, each of which contains four shots to bring his total to eight.

‘My researcher tells me that you open a day with eight shots of espresso,’ Greg announced, with his statement sparking gasps from the other members of the panel.

‘I do,’ Jake answered. ‘I have one four-shot cappuccino first thing, and then when I’m done with that, I go and I get another four-shot cappuccino.’

Despite his admission shocking some in the studio, the singer stressed: ‘It’s not that big of a deal, but people find it shocking.’

Nonetheless, Greg suggested that Jake should walk around with a defribillator on his back like a tortoise, just in case.

Meanwhile, comedian Jamali Maddix declared that Jake is a proper ‘bad boy’, with his leather jacket completing the overall rebellious image.

So would you ever try two four-shot cappuccinos a day? Or is one coffee in the morning enough for you?

According to the British Heart Foundation, consuming around four to five cups of coffee a day ‘should be fine for most people’, the organisation’s dietitian Victoria Taylor said.

‘Research shows that this level of caffeine intake shouldn’t be detrimental to your heart health, affect your cholesterol levels or heart rhythm,’ her advice continued.

‘Although drinking coffee has been shown to increase blood pressure, this effect is usually temporary and is minimised over time if you drink caffeinated drinks regularly.’

Edward Hume, an Emmy-nominated film and TV writer, has died aged 87.

Born on May 18 1936, Hume was best-known for his work on the hugely impactful 1983 TV movie The Day After, which told the tale of an imaginary war in which the US and the Soviet Union engaged in nuclear warfare.

When the film originally aired 40 years ago, it was reportedly watched by more than 100million people in nearly 39m households.

Four years after the movie’s initial release, it was broadcast in the Soviet Union.

In 2007, it was featured by Time in its list of the 100 best TV shows of all time.

The news of Hume’s death was confirmed to Variety by his representative, as Nicholas Meyer, the director of The Day After, said: ‘There can be no doubt about the size of Earth’s debt to Edward Hume.’

In addition to The Day After, Hume also wrote several TV shows in the 1970s, including Cannon, Barnaby Jones, The Streets of San Francisco and Toma.

Due to the impact of The Day After, ABC broadcast a special Viewpoint programme dedicated to the movie.

The special featured contributions from individuals including Elie Wiesel, Robert McNamara and Carl Sagan.

Hume also wrote the 1983 biographical film The Terry Fox Story, depicting the story of Canadian amputee and runner Terry Fox.

The film won the Genie Award for Best Motion Picture, which is regarded as Canada’s equivalent of an Academy Award.

Hume is survived by his children: Chris, Brian and Erika.

The Vanderpump Rules universe was rocked earlier this year when it emerged that the pair had a seven-month affair, despite the bar owner being in a long-term relationship with co-star Ariana Madix.

They eventually went their separate ways following a tense season 10 reunion, with the pageant queen taking a step back from the spotlight over severe backlash.

Earlier this week, Tom shared a comment on Raquel’s Instagram page to mark her 29th birthday, with the pageant queen publicly sharing that she had blocked him soon after.

Discussing the move in a new chat ahead of his debut in Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, the 40-year-old confessed that he wasn’t impressed by the move.

‘Obviously, I think it’s a little immature and petty,’ he told People Magazine. ‘To post that you’re blocking seems a bit thirsty.

‘I wanted to just send her some love, let her know that happy birthday, whatever.

‘I just feel bad for her, in a way. I don’t understand. I think she’s really struggling with taking accountability for her actions and just wants to point fingers and be mad at everybody else. There were two of us in this situation. We both screwed up.’

On Monday, Tom raised eyebrows as he left a comment under Raquel’s latest Instagram post, which read: ‘Happy Birthday, Rachel, I really hope ur finding peace and happiness. Miss u friend [sic].’

Unpacking the post, he insisted that he wished Raquel the best and didn’t make the public comment to ‘cause any sort of negativity’.

‘It sucks. We never had any sort of closure. I had a conversation with her that ended very much in a way of, “All right, well, I’ll talk to you in the next few days,” and that was it.’

Following Tom’s affair coming to light, he joined the line-up of the second series of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, declaring that he wanted ‘to take a beating’.

His wish appears to have been granted as he debuted a bloody nose in the recent trailer…

In other footage, he added that he wanted ‘to get punished’ over his treatment of Ariana.

Tom has been joined by a star-studded cast for the grueling challenge, including JoJo Siwa, Blac Chyna and Tara Reid.

They will be joined by Jack Osbourne, Desperate Housewives and Beverly Hills 90210 actor Brian Austin Green, Kelly Rizzo, Bachelor alums Tyler Cameron and Nick Viall, and Chrisley Knows Best’s Savannah Chrisley.

NBA icon Robert Horry, NFL star Dez Bryant and Olympians Erin Jackson and Bodie Miller make up the athletes competing.

Former special-forces operatives Mark Billingham, Rudy Reyes, Jovon Quarles and Jason Fox are set to put the group through their paces.

Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test premieres on Fox on September 25.

Bianca Belair has confirmed she’s currently taking a break from WWE to focus on ‘some self-care’ after a dominating run as women’s champion.

The EST of WWE – who hasn’t been seen on-screen since getting attacked backstage by Damage CTRL on the August 18 episode of SmackDown – has been written off TV to give her a break after an intense 420-day run with the Raw Women’s Title which included countless community events and media commitments.

Speaking exclusively to Metro.co.uk at the MTV Video Music Awards this week, Bianca said: ‘Right now, it was just some self-care. We did some things with us personally that I’m so excited about, it has to do with the future.’

The 34-year-old star – whose husband and fellow wrestler Montez Ford joked his wife has been giving him ‘new house tasks every day’ during her time off – also teased some exciting new projects in the pipeline.

‘I’m trying to write a children’s book as well,’ she revealed, while their Hulu reality series The Crawfords is set to drop ‘at the end of this year, beginning of next year’.

‘We’re finishing up, wrapping up filming that,’ she teased, while working on the show itself has been a real turnaround for someone who previously insisted she’d ‘never’ work in reality TV.

She explained: ‘I was always somebody that was like, “I will never do reality TV, I have no desire to do it”. And I learned to never say never very quickly.

‘It was different for me because everybody sees my husband – who everybody in the ring is who he is at home, he’s high energy, he’s full of life, full of joy, yelling, screaming, singing.

‘I’m a little bit more low-key and more reserved, I just chill at home and do my DIY projects. I’m used to having the cameras in my face at work and now they’re in my home. How do I just be normal now? I don’t need to turn it on to be Bianca Belair. It’s a different dynamic!’

Bianca’s hiatus has given the beloved fan favourite a chance to relax at home and find shows to binge, which has led her to becoming obsessed with Temptation Island.

‘I’m never home and I was finally home so I was looking for things to binge watch. I just started binge watching it and I brought [Montez] along,’ she revealed. ‘At one point, the girls were putting their hands on a guy and I was like, “Take your hand off of him!” and I was hitting him.

‘He was like, “Babe, they’re not touching me!” I was invested in all five seasons!’

Montez added: ‘I will say, we always find new shows to watch and binge watch, we discuss them, we pause the show in the middle of it and we talk about all the different sides – why this person made this decision, why would they do that? – we try to listen to reason so, it’s a lot of fun.’

Despite the break, Bianca hasn’t been too far away, as just this week she and Montez joined the likes of bosses Triple H and Vince McMahon at the New York Stock Exchange to celebrate the $21 billion merger between UFC and WWE with both companies now under the TKO banner owned by Endeavor.

‘It was exciting just to be part of a historic moment,’ she said. ‘Being able to be there representing WWE was an honour. It’s very exciting because it’s a new chapter.’

She admitted: ‘Everyone is on the edge of, “What’s coming? What’s happening next?” so I’m just excited for whatever can come out of this and what’s going to come out of this. It’s going to be great.’

Former Top Gear presenter Steve Berry criticised the show following Freddie Flintoff’s horror crash.

Last week, the former England cricket player and TV host was photographed for the first time since the shock accident while filming Top Gear in December 2022 which it was said he was ‘lucky’ to have survived.

Since the crash, Freddie, 45, has kept a low profile while he recovers.

Speaking on GB News, ex presenter Steve – who left the show in 1999 – said the show has an issue with its talent, arguing they are not qualified to carry out the tasks required for the programme.

‘The difference back when I did it was they used to appoint motoring journalists,’ he told Dan Wootton.

‘I was completely aware of the dangers that could often occur. I was under no illusion.’

He added: ‘The problem for me with the modern Top Gear is you’re asking a cricketer to do things that really should be done by people who know what they’re doing.

‘But it’s the viewer that’s the problem.’

After breaking a rib and suffering facial injuries in the crash, which happened while shooting an episode of Top Gear at Dunsfold Park Aerodrome in Surrey, it was revealed that Freddie’s three-wheeled open-top car, which did not have air bags, had flipped.

He then had to wait an ‘agonising’ 45 minutes for an air ambulance – with the BBC later offering him an apology.

It was revealed this week that Freddie would be returning to screens ‘this winter’, with reports he is gearing up to resume filming Field of Dreams, which sees him go on the hunt for untapped cricketing talent.

A source told The Mirror: ‘Everyone is thrilled and relieved Freddie is gearing up to get back to work.

Married at First Sight UK is returning to our screens this autumn, to bring us a much need daily dose of drama, dinner parties, and hopefully not too many divorces.

The popular reality series tracks couple’s who meet for the first time on their wedding day, with relationship experts helping them to navigate their relationships.

This year’s installment has the first ever trans contestant and will be 36 episodes long, making it the longest ever series of the show.

But does the experiment work? Let’s take a look at which MAFS couples are still together.

Jenna and Zoe

Jenna and Zoe made MAFS history in the 2022 series, by being the first lesbian couple on the show.

The couple had their fair share of ups and downs in the show, with Zoe struggling to come to terms with Jenna’s vegan lifestyle but managed to work through their differences, and ended up being the only couple to survive last year’s series.

A year on from the experiment, the couple look more loved up than ever, and often post Instagram updates of holidays, date nights and cosy evenings in.

In April, Jenna celebrated the couple’s one year anniversary, with a Instagram post captioned: ‘I maaaybe a little late to the party but for our 1 year anniversary I wanted to put a little reel together of the day that changed everything.. Not just for me, @zoeclifton and our family and friends to look back on but also for you guys to have a little insight into the reality of what our day actually looked like ❤️

‘It was honestly just smiles all round.. an amazing start to our journey, we definitely had our challenges during the experiment (a turbulent rollercoaster I’m not sure many could withhold) but I’m so glad it didn’t take us long to work through our differences and find our way back to the smiles we had on the day we met.’

Tayah and Adam

Tayah and Adam have been inseperable ever since they met on the 2021 series of MAFS, and it looks like their love has grown stronger by the day.

The couple confessed their love for each other after just one week in the experiment and Adam, who had never had a relationship before, called her his ‘first and last love”.

Although the pair were married at first sight, the marriages on the show aren’t actually legal, so Adam got down on one knee and proposed to Tayah in the final vow reneweal of the show.

However, the couple’s wedding plans were put on hold when Tayah gave birth to a baby in October 2022.

Announcing the happy news in an Instagram post, Tayah said: ‘7th October, the day our lives completely changed.

‘Introducing you all to our precious girl, Beau Emily Aveling, we are completely besotted, she is perfect in every single way.’

The couple often post adorable snaps of their little family on Instagram.

Owen and Michelle

Owen and Michelle met on the 2020 series on MAFS, and are still going strong three year’s later.

The couple share a joint Instagram account where they often post updates on their adventures, from holidays, to theatre trips.

In May of this year, Owen and Michelle announced the exciting news that they are expecting a child together.

Posting a snap of an ultrasound on Instagram, the couple wrote: ‘So, we’ve got news… #mafsuk #mafsbaby #mafsukbaby #comingdecember2023.’

JoJo Offerman has paid tribute to her late fiance Bray Wyatt in an emotional post on social media.

The former WWE ring announcer reflected on her relationship with the three-time world champion – whose real name was Windham Rotunda – following his tragic death last month aged just 36, and admitted she had ‘written and rewritten this post so many times’ as she struggled to find the right words.

Alongside a series of candid photos from their time together, she said: ‘Ive written and rewritten this post so many times because there are no amount of words in this world to describe Windham and what he means to me.

‘But I’ve also been avoiding it because in some weird way it makes all of this all too real. I miss the love of my life so much it hurts.

‘He was everything I ever wanted and everything I never knew I needed, and I let him know that everyday. I’m so grateful that he allowed me to love him fiercely. But I am so blessed he loved me fiercely in return.’

JoJo described Wyatt – with whom she shared two young children – as ‘the best person’ she knows, along with her ‘best friend’ and ‘soulmate’ as he gave her ‘a love that will last a lifetime’.

She continued: ‘He was the kindest, funniest, most caring man in the world. He made me feel beyond special every single day. He made everyone feel special, which was one of the million things I loved about him.

‘Our bond was magical, something only the two of us understood. And that beautiful bond brought two perfect babies into the world. That’s another thing, he was the BEST daddy to Knash, Hyrie, Cadyn, and Kendyl.

‘Family was EVERYTHING to him. Windham knew me better than I knew myself and he always knew how to calm my storm, as I did for him.’

JoJo admitted while she wishes she ‘had more time’ with her partner, she still feelsgrateful ‘to be loved’ by him for as long as she was.

It’s time to pop your aprons back on and get baking – because The Great British Bake Off is back!

The return date for the 2023 series has officially been confirmed, with the new season set to introduce national treasure Alison Hammond as a brand new presenter alongside Noel Fielding.

In a post shared on Instagram featuring a picture of Alison, Noel and judges Paul Hollywood and Dame Prue Leith, the caption read: ‘Bake a date in your diaries.

‘Join Paul, Prue, Noel and Alison on Tuesday 26th September at 8pm for the return of The Great British Bake Off. #GBBO.’

That means that Bake Off is on its way back in less than two weeks. Yep, that’s right!

As can be expected, fans of the beloved show couldn’t be more excited that it’s just around the corner.

‘It’s that time of the year again 🎂😊,’ one fan commented on Instagram, while another added: ‘There’s not one show we get more excited about! GBBO BABY!’

Meanwhile, several viewers who watch the programme religiously in the US asked when it will be premiering with the 2023 series on Netflix.

Alison’s debut on Bake Off comes after Matt Lucas stepped away from his role as co-host after three series.

The This Morning presenter was confirmed as his replacement in March this year, saying in a teaser at the time: ‘I’m just absolutely thrilled, I’m gonna be meeting the bakers very soon and joining the Great British Bake Off.

‘I’m so very excited! As you can see, all my colleagues are absolutely speechless… Yep, yep, just speechless. We’re so very happy and we can’t wait to get started.’

Speaking of Alison joining the show, Dame Prue told Metro.co.uk: ‘I think it’ll be fantastic, not only because of her character and her personality, but I like the fact she’s a woman.

‘I love Matt Lucas and I’m sure we’ll be friends for life, but the fact is, when there were three men and me, because there were numbers of them, they just got sillier and sillier and I never understand the jokes.

‘They can go into hysterics about the word sausage. They’re like four years olds. So, I’m looking forward to having a woman around.’

WWE has confirmed the 2024 Royal Rumble is coming to Tampa Bay, Florida in January.

The wrestling giant – which is now officially part of TKO following a $21 billion merger with UFC – will hold a weekend of events across St. Petersburg, Clearwater and Tampa.

On Saturday, January 27 the 37th Royal Rumble event will take place at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, with Monday Night Raw hailing from Tampa’s Amalie Arena two days later.

This will mark the first time the Royal Rumble will be held in Tampa Bay in front of a live crowd since 1995.

‘Tampa Bay has long been a terrific market for WWE,’ said WWE Executive Vice President of Live Events John Porco. ‘Thanks to our partners at the Tampa Bay Rays, Visit St. Pete/Clearwater and the Tampa Bay Sports Commission, we look forward to a fantastic schedule of events in January.’

Tampa Bay Rays President Matt Silverman added: ‘We are excited to welcome WWE back to Tropicana Field for the 2024 Royal Rumble.

‘The Royal Rumble will provide first-class sports entertainment to both those seeing the action in person and watching as part of a worldwide television audience.

‘This event will bring visitors from around the globe to experience the beauty of our area and all it has to offer.’

‘Team Tampa Bay loved hosting WrestleMania 37 two years ago and we’re now beyond excited to have the opportunity to collaborate again with our longtime friends at WWE,’ commented Rob Higgins, Tampa Bay Sports Commission Executive Director.

The event will be headlined by the 30-man and 30-woman Royal Rumble matches, with the winners of both earning a championship match at WrestleMania 40.

The announcement comes after this year’s record-setting Royal Rumble in San Antonio, Texas, which saw Cody Rhodes and Rhea Ripley with their respective matches.

The event became WWE’s highest-grossing and most-viewed Rumble in history, setting an all-time gate record at more than $7.7 million, more than doubling the previous Royal Rumble high in 2017.

Neil Jones is back on Strictly Come Dancing as a professional dancer, but he reportedly won’t have a celebrity partner.

Instead, the 41-year-old will seemingly be focused on other aspects of the show that don’t involve partaking in the main competition on Saturday night.

This is something that Neil is used to as he has been a part of the series for eight years, and during that time he has only had two partners – Alex Scott, and Nina Wadia. While some people may assume that Neil feels left out, he revealed that he feels the exact opposite.

‘I would honestly say to you, I love when I have a partner, and I love when I don’t have a partner,’ he explained.

Whilst speaking to Radio Times, he also gave a bigger insight into what he gets up to when he’s not partnered up with a celebrity.

‘When you don’t have a partner, a lot of people think you just sit at home. But you really don’t,’ he explained.

‘On Strictly, they make sure you’ve got plenty to do. We’re doing group numbers and music acts, we help out other pros.’

Neil – who was previously married to fellow Strictly pro Katya Jones – is also very busy in his personal life as he’s set to become a dad later this year. He is expecting a baby girl with Love Island’s Chyna Mills, 24, with her arrival right around the corner.

A plan has actually been put in place in case Chyna goes into labour while Strictly is on air.

Neil told OK! Magazine that he’s urged his other half to ‘hold on as long as she can.’

‘Chyna is ready to pop – she’s raring to go,’ he said.

‘We’re not sure when it’s going to happen but if it’s during a live show, we’re prepared for that.

‘It would be ideal if it happened when I had some time off, but I’m buzzing with anticipation.’

Nadiya Bychkova also reportedly doesn’t have a celebrity dance partner on this year’s Strictly Come Dancing.

The real reason for the snub has seemingly been revealed, and it’s down to a mixture of age, height, and chemistry.

Davina McCall may have some explaining to do after revealing Josie Gibson’s crush on live television.

Over the years Josie, 38, has been open about her dating life and her struggle to find time to meet men with her busy schedule.  

The TV personality previously found love on Big Brother in 2010, when she dated fellow contestant John James Parton.

She then went on to have a relationship with a childhood friend called Terry, with whom she shares four-year-old son Reggie, but they split in 2019.

However, it seems another man has now caught her attention.

But while Josie would have likely been happy to keep her crush a secret, the whole country now knows who he is.

During an interview with Davina on Wednesday’s episode of This Morning to discuss the new dating series My Mum, Your Dad, conversation turned to some of the participants.

After Davina spoke about how ‘mid-lifers’ get overlooked in many circumstances, she said there was a point where many people would decide they want to ‘come home to someone’.

‘It is tough out there, I will confirm that,’ Josie shared.

After chatting about how the show works, Davina then dropped the goss.

‘And then there’s Roger, who is the one you quite fancy Josie…’ she said.

Looking taken aback, Josie started squealing as Davina realised her mistake.

‘Oh no was I not supposed to say that? Ok sorry about that.’

Trying to save her skin, Josie said that ‘everyone has fallen in love with Roger’, with co-host Holly Willoughby then sharing an anecdote about meeting him yesterday.

‘I saw him, and his daughter and I had to give them a massive hug,’ she said.

On the most recent episode of the dating show, Roger, 58, shared the story of losing his wife to cancer just 18 months ago.

During a first date with single mother Caroline, he explained how his wife Joanne, 52, went to sleep on the sofa and never woke up.

‘We were on holiday in Italy and I just looked behind her ear, and it was irritating her – just a little spot behind her ear,’ he said.

After telling his wife she needed to get it checked when they returned home, he explained how it was revealed to be melanoma, but by that time, the cancer had spread to her brain.

He then recalled how one day he put her to sleep on a settee, but when he came in about half an hour later, she had passed away.  

Caroline, who was reduced to tears by the story, replied: ‘But you wouldn’t have known.’

Miriam Margolyes has again proved she loves going rogue when live on air.

The 81-year-old actress, who often comes out with expletives and sexual innuendos during interviews, had no filter when dishing out advice to fans this week.

During an appearance on This Morning on Wednesday, Miriam was asked to act as an agony aunt, and her answers did not disappoint.

When speaking to one caller, the actress was questioned about how a girlfriend should speak to her partner, who is always watching videos on his phone.

Rather than share a measured response, like suggest a conversation, Miriam took things one step further.

‘What you could do is one day, when he comes home, you could be completely naked, and display yourself,’ she began.

‘Push up your breasts and show him what you’ve got and say, “Look at me and not that f***ing screen.’

As Holly mouthed sorry to the camera, Miriam made sure to clarify she hadn’t actually sworn.

‘I didn’t say it, I mouthed it,’ she said, leaning back in her chair and smiling.

‘Sorry anyway though, just in case you could understand what that meant,’ Holly jumped in.

However, as always, Miriam wasn’t quite done just yet.

Another viewer then had a dilemma for Miriam in regards to difficult neighbours, who were doing thing such as parking across her driveway.

‘It’s a problem with neighbours isn’t it because I have the same,’ she began.

‘They are very nice but noisy and they know it. It’s not like I am saying something they don’t know.

‘I think you need to go to them and say you really need to talk to them because my health is becoming affected and I am not happy, and that’s not fair is it.’

She continued: ‘And then if they are still like that, throw the s*** over the wall.’

As Josie burst out laughing Holly again mouthed sorry down the barrel of the camera.

Miriam then placed her hand over her mouth after realising she might be in a bit of trouble for that specific slip, with Holly telling her: ‘You felt so comfortable you forgot yourself for a moment there.’

The actress then apologised: ‘I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean, anyway, I apologise.’

When returning later in the show Miriam again slipped up again when speaking about recently appearing in Vogue.

‘They only asked me because I am an old dy** that’s why but I was happy to take it,’ she said.

However, she quickly realised her mistake and questioned if she was able to use the word on air, an answer Holly and co-host Josie Gibson couldn’t answer either.

‘Oh an elderly lesbian instead. Can I stay that?’ she said while continuing her story.

When speaking about her sex life during the segment, Miriam also revealed she’d recently ‘steamed’ her ‘yoni’ while in Australia.

‘It’s your front bottom and it did me the world and it did me a world of good and was very nice,’ she said.

She then explained how she got a saucepan of mint that had been boiled and spread her legs and ‘other parts’, a process she said was ‘peaceful and pleasant’ and ‘awakened something that had been slumbering’.

However she added that sex was ‘no longer’ for her.

Jeremy Vine has been left shaken after being knocked off his bike by a van.

The 58-year-old was wearing a camera on his helmet so has a recording of the incident, which he shared on social media.

This isn’t the first time that Jeremy has made this kind of post online – he often wears the recording device while cycling, and then publishes clips of drivers that he claims are misbehaving.

In his latest video, shared with his 788,000 X followers, he wrote: ‘This morning. About an hour ago.

‘Illegal right turn, then watch. Unbelievable.’

As the van ran over his bike, Jeremy banged on the back to alert the driver and is heard shouting ‘s**t’ as the events unfold.

The person in control of the vehicle eventually seemed to hear and drove off the bike again, and away from Jeremy who was positioned behind the van.

Someone then appeared and apologised to Jeremy, and helped him to carry the bike onto the pavement.

When Jeremy is asked: ‘Are you okay, sir?’, he responded with ‘Just come over here’.

He later added: ‘Wow’.

One person replied to his tweet containing the footage with: ‘You went through a red light’.

‘It’s green [sic]. Don’t drive. Please,’ he wrote.

He also took screenshots and circled the traffic lights to answer back to X users who questioned whether he had cycled through a red light.

Jeremy has some passionate views on bike safety.

As well as being a crusader against drivers, who he considers to be breaking the rules, he has recently come up with his own ideas for the future.

‘I do think, firstly, we shouldn’t allow any overtaking of bicycles in big cities. That’s one step. And I’m starting to think I want cars to pull over if they see me behind them because they know I’m faster,’ he explained to The Times.

The Bachelorette star Charlie Newling was ‘haunted’ following his stint on reality TV according to friends who have spoken out following his death aged 36.

This weekend, NSW Police confirmed details of the car crash in Sydney’s eastern suburbs late on Saturday night in which he died.

Police and ambulance workers arrived at Raleigh Reserve after being contacted by locals who found Newling’s car on fire at the bottom of the 70-metre cliff.

Back in 2018, the builder appeared on Ali Oetjen’s season of the Australian reality series, which friends have now said ‘didn’t help’ with his mental health.

‘Charlie has always been a bit of a lost soul and fragile and should never have been on TV,’ one of his friends said.

‘He was too vulnerable.’

They added that Newling had ‘always struggled with his mental health’.

‘Going on The Bachelorette didn’t help this, especially with how they made him come across with his edit. It always seemed to haunt him,’ they added when speaking to Yahoo Lifestyle.

They also recalled how Newling started lying about his appearance on the show when approached by people who recognised him.

‘We were at a party in Bronte last summer when a few girls were asking him if he was from [The Bachelorette] and what happened as they remembered some drama. He told them how he chose to quit as he wasn’t into Ali and producers begged him to stay,’ they said, adding the show ‘almost seemed to creep back’.

While he made it to the top four after initially being labelled ‘Mr Perfect’ by viewers, Newling was sent packing from the show after he refused to introduce Ali to his family until they were ‘exclusive’, an action which was slammed by viewers.

In the years since, Newling found himself in trouble with the law on several occasions.

Just two days after leaving The Bachelorette, footage emerged of him being wrestled to the ground by bouncers outside a pub in Sydney.

Then, in September last year, he was sentenced to 13 months prison for threatening to torture and kill his stepfather in a series of 37 text messages over a three-hour period.

During his sentencing, the court was told Newling had suffered significant childhood trauma, including having to care for his biological father when he was a teenager after he was left a paraplegic following an accident.

His father died in 2018 from an overdose of pain medication.

The court also heard Newling had struggled with alcohol abuse and had been convicted of a mid-range drink driving offence in 2021.

The former reality star is understood to have welcomed his second child, a daughter, with his partner Kristal Taylor just eight weeks ago.

He also has a 13-year-old son from a previous relationship.

Jean Boht, who played Nellie Boswell in the sitcom Bread, has died aged 91.

A statement from her family read: ‘It is with overwhelming sadness that we must announce that Jean Boht passed away yesterday, Tuesday September 12.

‘Jean had been battling vascular dementia and Alzheimer’s disease with the indefatigable spirit for which she was both beloved and renowned.’

They added: ‘She was a resident at Denville Hall, the home for members of the theatrical profession.’

She had a long and varied career on stage and screen but it was her role on Bread, created by Carla Lane, for which she was best known.

Running from 1986 to 1991, the show which depicted a working-class family in Liverpool was watched by more than 20 million people at its peak and Boht won a British Comedy Award for best TV comedy actress.

She was the subject of the biographical television show This Is Your Life in 1989.

The actor also starred in many other television projects including Softly, Softly, Some Mothers Do ‘Ave ‘Em, Grange Hill, and Last of the Summer Wine. Boht made a guest appearance on BBC soap Doctors in 2008.

Although, she focused on TV Boht has also worked in theatre in Embers alongside Jeremy Irons, and on film projects – Mothers and Daughters and Bad Night for the Blues.

Boht was married to Carl Davis, the composer behind the music of the 1990s Pride and Prejudice TV series, who died aged 86, last month.

They married on December 28 1970 and the couple welcomed two daughters: Hannah Louise and Jessie Jo.

Paul Edwards, Director of Clinical Services at Dementia UK has praised the family for being open about Boht’s diagnosis.

‘By discussing Jean’s experiences publicly, her family will help raise awareness for dementia and Alzheimer’s, encouraging them to seek the support they need for this condition. We are grateful for their honesty and hope they are receiving the support they need at this difficult time,’ he said.

A famous face appearing on the upcoming season of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins is reported to have had a massive meltdown on set that resulted in threats to ‘throw a crew member off the side of a cliff’.

The latest version of the reality series was filmed in New Zealand and saw celebrities put through their paces by instructors Rudy Reyes, Remi Adeleke, Jason ‘Foxy’ Fox and Mark ‘Billy Billingham’.

Some of the names reported to have taken part include Love Island’s Ovie Soko, TOWIE star Pete Wicks, Bianca Gascoigne, actor John Barrowman and Georgia Harrison, as well as Olympic boxer Anthony Ogogo.

However, it’s now emerged that the stress of the show got so intense at one point that Anthony, 34, snapped.

‘Anthony went crazy after a tough task that involved pulling something up the side of a mountain in the snow,’ a source has said.

‘He was stressed out from the challenge and took his anger out on a crew member.

‘He screamed at him and threatened to throw him off the side.’

They continued: ‘He’s a big bloke and because he’s a boxer, everyone was terrified.

‘Thankfully he calmed down eventually, and no one was hurt but it was a scary situation,’ the source added when speaking to The Sun.

Back in 2012, Anthony won a bronze medal for Britain at the 2012 London Olympics, before turning pro and going on to win 11 of his 12 clashes.

His first title fight, for the vacant WBC International Middleweight crown in 2016, was the only loss of his four-year career.

After suffering a fractured eye socket that left him registered blind, he retired from the sport at only 30 years old.

Following his retirement from boxing, Anthony began his career in professional wrestling.

In the years since he has also appeared on Big Brother: Celebrity Hijack, Splash and Celebrity Haunted Mansion.

In 2015 he also competed on Strictly Come Dancing, where he was paired with Oti Mabuse, however they were eliminated in the third week.

Last month he told Metro.co.uk that he was still suffering from the effects of taking part in Celebrity SAS.

‘It was fun, it was just very hard! On telly, it’s just someone lifting a boat and you see them grimacing and you’re like, “That looks hard! That looks heavy!”,’ he said.

‘You can’t feel the weight of it. When you feel the weight of it – and then we were in New Zealand in their winter! I got frost bite, my two big toes are still numb from the experience. I’m sitting there, I’m shuddering!’

He added that while he felt like a ‘tough dude’ emotionally and physically, the experience was ‘genuinely was one of the hardest things I’ve done in my entire life’.

Sometimes we just say the wrong thing, and we’re pretty sure that’s what happened to this My Mum, Your Dad star on Good Morning Britain today.

Dubbed middle-aged Love Island, Davina McCall’s dating show for parents is an instant hit, with many people commenting on how emotional the first few episodes were.

Arriving on Tuesday night as a bombshell contestant, Janey, 47,is set to spice up the drama in the ITV dating show, orchestrated by a bunch of kids who are desperate for their parents to find love.

Will is Janey’s 20-year-old son behind her entrance onto the show, and they appeared together on GMB this morning to chat about it.

As a fan of the show – admitting yesterday he cried at the first episode – presenter Ed Balls was given the honour of speaking to the mother-son combination.

He asked Janey what it was like to be the ‘blonde bombshell’ arrival.

‘I loved it. I was really excited, and then I walked out and was like, “Oh my goodness, I don’t remember everyone’s faces, everyone’s names”,’ she said, before concluding: ‘People were really really nice to me.’

What Janey didn’t expect to happen next was Will’s answer when asked why he entered his mum for the show, and what he wants to come out of it.

‘I wanted to put her forward to finally isolate her dating life, because she intermingles it with other things like work and I just wanted to let her focus on that for once,’ he answered to the first. Fair enough.

But to the second, out of nowhere the 20 year old said: ‘Ideally she comes out with someone, but also if she comes out a better person generally.’ Ouch.

To this Janey’s jaw dropped to the floor, and she asked her son: ‘Was I a bad person?’ The pair then laughed, and Will perhaps realised the connotations of what he said, as he began to explain himself before being cut off.

Chatting about being vulnerable on national TV, Janey said: ‘I’m 47, I feel a bit battered. I don’t care anymore, I will put it all out there. We’re all human at the end of the day.’

When quizzed about who he’d like to see his mother couple up with, Will revealed his favourite dad is pastoral support officer Clayton.

‘I’ll always love Clayton for some reason,’ he said.

Elsewhere on the show, Roman Kemp called for the government to answer his open letter on Twitter about the dire straits of mental health services in the UK.

The Capital Radio presenter asked why the government was only aiming for 50% of schools to have mental health services.

‘If there is a 50:50 chance that your child is going to receive proper mental health care, if you had two children, how do you decide which one gets the help?’ he asked.

Earlier in the show, after one GMB star snoozed through their alarm and turned up late to work, presenter Susanna Reid compared them to a cow being pulled out of a sinkhole.

And eventful day all round.

Susanna Reid had some stern words for her colleague when they turned up late to work this morning.

Presenting Good Morning Britain with Ed Balls, the 53-year-old broadcaster nodded to a recent viral video when she compared Andrew Pierce’s tardiness to a cow being pulled from a sinkhole.

Some incredible footage, emerging yesterday, showed a bullock being dragged out of a sinkhole from its hind legs in an impressive rescue mission after it got stuck.

After, all the unfortunate bullock’s cow friends checked in on him to make sure he was okay after what was surely an incredibly distressing situation.

‘Tory Boy’ Andrew didn’t get quite such a sympathetic response when he rushed into the Good Morning Britain studios late after snoozing his alarm.

The political commentator, 62, could be seen hurriedly micing up backstage after Susanna and Ed announced he was running late.

‘We’re supposed to be joined by The Mail’s Andrew Pierce but he’s not quite arrived yet,’ said Ed.

‘Apparently the cab for the nightclub he’s been in overnight was a bit late arriving, so he’s en route,’ the ex Labour politician joked.

As they were talking about triple lock pensions, Susanna jumped in with a quip: ‘He hasn’t managed to free himself from his own triple lock, has he?’

Meanwhile, associate editor of the Daily Mirror Kevin Maguire mocked the right wing journalist, doing an impression of him repeating how great the Conservatives are.

‘He’s going to talk more sense not being here,’ Kevin mocked, before Ed asked him how it is to be in a work partnership with someone who has totally different views, referring to Andrew.

‘George Osbourne will do for you, what Andrew does for me. And that’s make you sound good,’ he retorted, nodding to Ed and the former chancellor’s podcast.

‘Do a little drumroll, because Andrew Pierce has decided working from home no longer works for him,’ said Susanna, as the studio clapped the journalist into work.

They joked he was still wearing mascara from the night before, while Andrew explained how he ‘heard the clock,’ and ‘turned it off’ and went back to sleep.

Sharing how they all have two alarm clocks to get them out of bed for the show’s 6am start, Andrew explained how his back up didn’t go off and ‘only one worked.’

Nodding to Andrew’s political views, Kevin asked if he would care to ‘denounce work-shy Britain’ after the alarm-gate.

Later on, referring back to Andrew’s lateness, Susanna said the ‘video of bullock being pulled out of a sinkhole’ is a metaphor for how he’s ‘feeling this morning.’

‘Andrew, I’ve got a wonderful video for you this morning, and I think it’s a metaphor for how you’re feeling right now,’ she said.

‘This is footage of a huge bullock being pulled out of a sinkhole.’

Nadiya Bychkova reportedly doesn’t have a celebrity dance partner on this year’s Strictly Come Dancing, and now the ‘reason’ has been revealed.

Although, the Strictly couples aren’t officially revealed until Saturday’s debut show, a spoiler website has let the cat out of the bag.

According to the leak, Nadiya has been left on the bench, which shocked fans and former partner Dan Walker.

‘All the pros are great but gutted to hear that @nadiyabychkova hasn’t got a partner. I’m sure she’s still looking forward to being part of the biggest show on TV but it feels a bit like putting Messi on the bench for the World Cup final! 🤯,’ he wrote.

Since Nadiya, 34, joined in 2017, she has also been partnered with stars Matt Goss, Davood Ghadami, Lee Ryan, and David James. The last time Nadiya wasn’t given a partner was in 2020.

According to reports, the Ukrainian dancer – who is in a relationship with fellow pro, Kai Widdrington – was left ‘fuming’ by the choice.

Now, the real reason for the snub has seemingly been revealed, and it’s down to a mixture of age, height, and chemistry.

At 5’8, she would have been taller than many of the male celebrities, especially once she put on heels.

‘She would have towered over seven out of the eight male celebrities in the competition,’ explained a TV Insider.

Bobby Brazier, who stands at 6’2, could have been perfect.

They continued to The Sun: ’On the basis of height, it was expected that they would form a duo on this series.

‘But bosses felt there was something odd about the fact that the particularly fresh-faced Bobby only turned 20 this summer, while Nadiya is a mature woman.’

The source added that it’s down to more than an age gap, and instead about appearances: ‘So long as they both have the same boy or girl-next-door look, it works’.

This could explain why Bobby is possibly with Dianne Buswell, who is the same age as Nadiya. Metro.co.uk spotted the pair chatting and dancing together at the National Television Awards, which could indicate a partnership.

Audiences have to ‘believe the chemistry between dance partners’, they concluded.

Becky Lynch was visibly emotional as she celebrated finally becoming NXT Women’s Champion a decade after debuting in WWE.

The six-time world champion – who also had a run with tag team gold alongside Hall of Famer Lita – has now completed the set by winning a prize that eluded her during her original two-year stint in NXT which started back in 2013.

On Tuesday night, Big Time Becks, 36, battled rising star Tiffany Stratton for the title and triumphed in an incredible main event which gave both stars the chance to shine.

The match marked Lynch’s return to the brand where she started her WWE career 10 years ago, and it was her first fight on the show since a one-off appearance in 2019 when she and Rhea Ripley fought to a no contest.

This week, she got the job done against another tough opponent, eventually putting 24-year-old star Stratton – who has been impressing since wrestling her very first match less than two years ago – away with the Man-handle Slam.

Lynch looked to be fighting back tears as she held the championship in her hands and soaked up the adulation of the crowd, showing just how much it means to her.

It means the influential so-called Four Horsewomen who helped define an era of NXT – also including Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks and Bayley – have all held the title.

Backstage after the match, Lynch couldn’t contain her joy as she basked in her win and admitted she wasn’t sure if she’d ever get a chance to win the NXT Women’s Title after moving on from the brand in 2015.

‘Here we go, Becky Balboa – we did it! Oh my goodness, this is wild, this is wild. I’ve had “become the NXT Women’s Champion” on my goal list for the last 10, maybe 11 years,’ she told WWE.

‘It’s one of those things that you just, “OK, I’m not in NXT, maybe it’s never gonna happen!” And then Tiffany just had to go running her mouth too much and here we frickin’ are! Can’t say nothing’s impossible no more!’

Referencing her husband Seth Rollins – who currently has the World Heavyweight Title – she called them a ‘family full of champions, adding: ‘Look at us, controlling the business!’

WWE NXT airs Tuesday nights at 1am on TNT Sports 1.

This Morning star Matty Lock’s last social media photo before his death has shown him helping his community.

Earlier this week it was announced that the TV star, who was also a politician and campaigner, had died aged just 19.

Lock was a member of the Labour Party in Sefton and Merseyside and was recently elected as a town councillor in Maghull.

The teenager was also a parish councillor in Lydiate.

He was also known for his appearances on the ITV breakfast programme, which began when he was just two, and saw him review and share his love of vacuum cleaners.

Now his last ever photos shared online has highlighted his community mindedness.

In them, he was seen cleaning up the local community with a colleague last month.

While most of the photos showed the areas he was attending to, one featured him smiling alongside a colleague while wearing a high-vis pink vest.

He wrote: ‘Great work by Cllr Ken Hughes clearing the subway today, we have washed the walls and cut the hedges.’

Back in 2018, aged just 13, Lock had sold around 300 machines to cleaning companies, private homeowners, and his teachers.

After This Morning released a statement online following the news of his death, Holly Willoughby and Dermot O’Leary paid an emotional tribute on Monday’s episode.

‘He was a much-loved member of our team who never failed to bring joy and warmth to our studio,’ she began.

‘With an infectious passion for gadgets and technology, it was truly unique.’

‘Bless him, his love of vacuum cleaners started when he was just two years old, he received his first toy Henry,’ Dermot added.

‘He went onto become a politician, a campaigner and a much-loved member of the show.’

Labour deputy leader Angela Rayner was also among others who have shared condolences.

In a post on X, formerly Twitter, she wrote: ‘Incredibly sad news, Matty did so much for his community. My love and prayers are with his friends and family.’

Former WWE Diva Kelly Kelly has welcomed twins into the world.

The 36-year-old star – who previously revealed she was due to give birth later in September– and her husband Joe Coba are overjoyed with their bundles of joy, and the new mum admitted she has been in a ‘baby bubble’ getting to know to know her kids.

She wrote on X (formerly Twitter): ‘Our twins have arrived!! I can’t wait to share all the pics and videos so soon!

‘We’ve been in our baby bubble taking in every minute of our babies, words can’t describe how I feel now that I am a mom to the Most perfect angel babies, just wait till you see their faces 🥹🙏♥️👶🏼👶🏼’

Earlier this year, Kelly Kelly – whose real name is Barbara Blank Coba – reflected on her pregnancy journey and admitted she was feeling more like herself after getting past the first trimester.

She told Entertainment Tonight: ‘Obviously, the first trimester is not so dreamy with all the morning sickness. But once I got out of that, the second trimester has been great.

‘I feel like I’m myself again and have all the energy to do the things I love and missed during the first trimester like working out, etcetera.’

In August 2021, the wrestler suffered a miscarriage months after getting married to Joe, and she has been determined to share her story to help others going through the same heartbreak.

‘The overwhelming responses of “Thank you so much for sharing your story, I wish it was talked about more,” was really all I needed to be inspired to want to be a strong voice and to be open and honest about my fertility journey,’ she added.

Although she hasn’t had a singles match in almost a decade, Kelly Kelly has appeared in three Royal Rumbles (2018, 2020 and 2022) as well as a 20-Woman Battle Royal at WWE Evolution in 2018.

‘This definitely means taking a break from wrestling for a while for sure, to really focus on my new family,’ she said, noting she could return in the future, and maybe her baby will follow in her footsteps.

Amanda Holden may not have taken part in Strictly Come Dancing, but she has experienced a ‘weird’ moment with a professional dancer.

While recording her new documentary series Sex: A Bonkers History, the 52-year-old learned some new dance moves from Strictly champ Pasha Kovalev.

Pasha and Amanda performed The Volta together – a Tudor dance, which was once scandalous as it allowed married people to touch other people on the dance floor.

After Amanda got to grips with the moves, she reflected on her experience with Pasha, 43, who is married to Rachel Riley, 37, and explained that she understood how dance can lead to getting feelings.

‘You weren’t even allowed to hold hands and then being allowed to be that intimate, it was weird having that moment with Pasha,’ Amanda, who is married to record producer Chris Hughes, admitted.

‘I felt the feeling just in that afternoon, so I can’t imagine how people felt touching like that centuries ago.’

She then went on to praise Pasha for being a good teacher, in clips obtained by The Sun.

‘But Pasha, he was so patient. It really took me ages to learn that step, hop and kick.’

For the upcoming Sky History series, Amanda has also stripped off to teach us all about sex – you can’t say she does things by halves!

In a teaser clip, she rested in a bathtub while delivering a history lesson on the Egyptian queen.

‘Every sexual relationship was about gaining a strategic advance because, underneath that full face of makeup, which was actually made of crocodile dung, she was an intellectual heavyweight,’ she explained.

While casually leaning over the bathtub Amanda continued: ‘On the whole, history has been written by men so sorry Cleopatra, despite all your accomplishments, your savvy political manoeuvering, and incredible intellect you’ll forever be remembered as the woman who bonked her way to the top.’

To celebrate the show’s upcoming release, which will be co-hosted with historian Dan Jones, Amanda also dressed up as an angel – a look that is favoured by the Victoria’s Secret models.

Sex: A Bonkers History on Sky History, starts on September 18 at 9pm.

Madonna has thanked Pepsi for finally airing a commercial that was banned more than three decades ago.

Back in 1989, Pepsi signed a $5 million (£4 million) deal with the pop star, which would see her song Like A Prayer used in a TV advertisement for the brand.

However, the day after its debut, the song’s official music video was released, sparking mass outrage, particularly from Christian organisations, including the Vatican.

Soon after Pepsi pulled the commercial.

But now, to mark the company’s 125^th anniversary, it has now resurrected the advertisement, which was aired again at the MTV Video Music Awards on Tuesday night.

The Queen of Pop, 65, also shared her thoughts on the fact that the once-controversial clip was seeing the light of day again.

Posting the clip on social media, she wrote: ‘34 years ago I made a commercial with Pepsi to celebrate the release of my song Like a Prayer.

‘The commercial was immediately cancelled when I refused to change any scenes in the video where I was kissing a black saint or burning crosses.

‘So began my illustrious career as an artist refusing to compromise my artistic integrity.’

She added: ‘Thank you Pepsi for finally realising the genius of our collaboration. Artists are here to disturb the peace.’

First airing at the 31st Annual Grammy Awards in February 1989, Pepsi’s and Madonna’s commercial showed her returning to her childhood and enjoying a can of the drink as she watched her younger self celebrate her birthday.

Meanwhile the music video for Like A Prayer showed the singer dancing in lingerie alongside imagery deemed blasphemous by many Christians, including Catholic symbols such as the stigmata, saint prayer cards and crosses.

At the time Pope John Paul II condemned Madonna for using the religious imagery alongside sexual visuals.

The re-release of the ad comes as Madonna is also gearing up for her 40^th anniversary Celebration tour, which had to be postponed after she was rushed to hospital after being found unresponsive earlier this year.

She is said to have restarted rehearsals two weeks ago, with an insider telling The Mirror she was taking things ‘at a slower pace’.
